Was concerned about adhesive quality
Read all the reviews and was concered about the adhesive strips quality. I carefully removed the LCD display of the iMac, cleaned all the dust from inside and started removing remaining pieces of adhesive. This is very important step. Make sure to clean all the bits with plastic spudger and clean with isopropanol or other sorts of alcohol. If you're not comfortable with it, better pay few quid to someone who's got experience. I am very happy with the quality of the sensor and strips so far. Will update if there are any issues with this product after few weeks!

There's nothing wrong with the tape or the sensor.
I am amazed to see the criticisms on here for the tape supplied with this sensor. As long as you carefully remove all the tape from the frame and the screen using a spudger, and then use plain old lighter fuel to remove any residue you should have no problem. Just take your time and allow everything to dry properly before refitting the screen. The thermal sensor is simple to fit and only connects one way. The sticky pad sensor part should be fitted near the spindle on the side of the drive facing the rear of the chassis, not the screen side as some seem to have done here.

Works perfectly as long as you clean the screen properly
This works perfect. There are many comments on here about the adhesive strips not working but if you clean the contact points correctly, it works perfect. I used this 5 months ago and my screen is still attached and hasn't fallen off.I cleaned the back of the screen and the computer at all the points of contact with rubbing alcohol. You can get it off amazon for about £5 for 1l. Using a lint free cloth, clean all the areas where you are putting the strips down. Then with a very sharp blade angled almost flat, I used one out of a Stanley knife, run it along the screen and computer to make sure all the old adhesive has been removed. Take your time, it took me about an hour to do it and repeat the process a few times to do a through job, if you don't you'll regret it and so will your wallet!Once I had put the screen back on, I left it face down for a few hours just to make sure the adhesive really stuck. It worked for me and I am sure the screens that are falling off are as a result of the old adhesive not being completely removed.

Works as described but I did not use the included tape
Works perfectly but I did not use the included sticky tapes to reattach the screen because of the other reviews which say that the screen falls off. I purchased a separate 3M double sided sticky tape instead. Also, make sure you use some masking tape around the screen for a couple of days after reattaching it to hold it tight in place until the double sided tape has settled.

If you need it for your upgrade...get it!
Great piece of kit for my upgrade...the double sided tapes that came with it were absolutely fine, just need to clean all the edges with a bit of alcohol and wait for it to dry and installed as per instructions online.

Works as expected
Works as expected. Easy to fit, doesn't however include a pick as show in the image, but as a guitarist I can't say I needed another.Good stuff.

Cable ok, strips broke screen
Cable is fine ... glue strips are not. Lasted about 2 weeks before the screen just fell off and smashed.I recommend not using the strips that come with this and trying to find some genuine ones.
