My autistic son still screamed the house down as I cut his hair but it did give him an excellent haircut and I've never cut hair in my life so the scissors performed a miracle. When he calmed down he was incredibly proud of how he looked and was constantly getting compliments at school from staff and pupils the next day, so much so that he's reconsidered his original opinion of it and seems less distressed to use it again when he needs it.He has always hated his hair being cut but at least this way he's home and he can quickly get back to normal afterwards which is a big deal. I think it was an excellent purchase and it did the job well.

Excellent product, easy to use and best of all no tears from my son. Hair cuts are usually dreaded as my son screams and cries from the moment we get in the salon. With this, there were no tears and he happily let me cut his hair. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nice relaxed way to cut their children’s hair.

Bought for my son, who under no circumstances will let anyone near him with scissors or trimmers so I use these when he is asleep and after a couple of attempts there actually ok, definitely sharp enough. I start with the 1 or 2 at the back and sides then a 3 nearer the top, then on top a 5 so you get a nice fade, sometimes it can be a bit patchy for the first week but once it settles it looks good, and if you don’t like them you can always send them back, but if your wee one won’t get there hair cut they are definitely worth a try.

Suppose if it would be fine for someone with SPD who did not mind the sound of scissors however our 6 year old completely freaked out. Not at all easy to use. Wish I’d gone for a quiet clipper instead.

Very good product, good quality and fast delivery. I was very sceptical about those scissors at first and didn’t believe it will make any difference ( my 2 years old is terrified when i have to do his haircut), but it made cutting his hair so much easier. I just couldn’t believe it. Very pleased with my purchase.

Worked for one child, no good for the other. If it is the click of scissors these are great. If it is the sound of hair cutting, they're no good! At least we have a haircut for 1 child!

My son is autistic and has sensory issues.To give you an idea just how bad hair cuts used to be it used to take two adults and a hairdresser to hold him to cut his hair causing great stress to all involved. My son would run from the hairdresser, run outside, scream, hit & kick out and spray the hair dresser with the water bottle when she tried using scissors or clippers.These scissors have meant i can cut my sons hair without help calmly while giving an even cut.These have made a huge difference to hair cuts at home and means we can do them in short bursts (more often) when he is in the right mood with no booking in the hairdresser.Could not be happier with this product!

I am so thrilled to have finally found a safe and easier way to cut my 3 yr olds hair. He is ASD and we have struggled for years, but last night we had success and the least upset ever. He can see again after a fringe trim! Easy enough to use - thank you thank you thank you to whoever invented this; it comes with a booklet with tips too. Highly recommend.
