Great Customer Service
The package was delivered by Royal Mail to an address 300 miles away in Devon !Contact the Supplier who responded within 3 hours of my email. Sent replacement by a courier which arrived the next day. The product looks ok , but the customer service is well worth 5 stars.

It's a natural product that varies between batches
I've bought this malt many times as a the base for home brew and always found it to be first class. One thing to note is that being a natural product not specifically intended for brewing both the colour and favour of the malt can vary between batches depending on where and when it was sourced. This may explain some of the contradictory comments left by others. If you want a specific colour or flavour you should buy specialist beer malt (extract, spray or grain), but if you don't mind the luck of the draw this product works a treat and is much more economical. I have produced both malty dark and delicate pale brews with this product depending on what's in the tub. If you are brewing 40pts this 5kg tub will result in an ABV close to 6.5% - if that's too heady for you try the 3kg tub which generally finishes around 4.2%.Like others I have experienced problems with tubs occasionally breaking in transit. The primary packaging could be a lot better, hence only 4 stars.

Quality malt
This is a really nice productI made a batch of citra ale with it and it doesnt leave the homebrew after taste you get with kits .I tead a trview on this before buying it and it said its quite deep in colour which id have to disagree with as this is light to amber in colour even afyer being boiled for 20mins .

Not much of a malty flavour.
Ignoring the fact that the picture is of a totally different product! It has very little malt flavour, so not much use, except as a mild sweetener.

Had this delivered twice as a sticky mess
Had this delivered twice (to France) as a broken sticky mess, they don't pack it well enough so the tub breaks and makes an awful mess. Once may have been forgiven but twice, what a hopeless hapless haphazard company structure they must have!Hippies probably. It may be a good product but sadly I never found out.
