It's not just waterproof - it also is good for sealing bandages for sterility. And it's cushiony for nice comfort during sleep. It doesn't shift or scratch or irritate. It stretches with the body, instead. And it's perfect for people who have silicone and latex allergies. I wish we had discovered this product sooner. It's perfect for our needs and delicate and gentle on elderly skin, especially if you use Skin Prep on the skin first.

Great product! Stretches a LOT!!! conforms well to all kinds of body areas and doesn't irritate skin when removing. This didn't even pull HAIR when it was being removed, which is unheard of... but still manages, somehow, to stick very well! Incredible stuff! Only complaint is that it's waterproof on the outside but moisture trapped inside (sweat etc.) will loosen the tape very rapidly. Wish this came in a million different colors and was cheaper but still worth it! A great medical tape that doesn’t irritate the skin as much as some. Also very flexible with just the right amount of adhesion.

I'm very surprised by how sticky this tape is, it does not leave residue when removed.The adhesion is very good on skin and is a lot more comfortable than other tapes I tried.I got a piece fairly dirty, I just rinsed it with cold water and it was as good as new.

Best tape for covering large wounds/areas. Some what water proof.
