I don’t usually get excited about cleaning products, but this Dr Beckmann Stain Devils for Cooking Oil & Fat genuinely deserves a shoutout. It’s incredibly functional – I had a stubborn olive oil stain on my favourite top, and after one treatment, it was like it was never there. The quality is top-notch, with a formula that feels professional but gentle on clothes.I also appreciate that it has a light, clean smell rather than the harsh chemical scent that many stain removers have, making it pleasant to use in a small laundry room. The appearance is clean and straightforward, and the clear instructions make it beginner-friendly if you’re not used to using targeted stain removers.In terms of ease of use, it’s very straightforward – apply, leave for a few minutes, then wash as normal. The spray effectiveness is excellent; it gives a controlled, even coverage, so you’re not wasting product or over-soaking your clothes.Overall, it’s a little hero in my laundry cupboard, and I’d recommend it to anyone who cooks regularly and deals with oil splashes on clothes. It does exactly what it promises and saves clothes I thought I’d ruined.

This works. I've used it on stains that I thought were ruinous, and it made them vanish, without fading the colour of the garment,or altering its texture. I've used on cotton and viscose and it worked equally well. I'm going to buy the one for blood next, as I have frequent blood tests, with consequent sleeve stains. Fingers crossed it works as well as this one. I've recommended to everyone I know.

Did not get stain out

This stuff is brilliant. It removed deeply ingrained truck grease from my fawn coloured carpet. The product says it’s not for carpets but I have tried everything else including brake cleaner but nothing else worked. You only get a small bottle but it’s worth every penny.

Wanted to get ink out of something but this didn’t work. Tried 3 times and there was still some ink left behind. Not as good as I expected as was quite expensive
