Fantastic Product!!!
Ok so it doesn't look appealing but this is what a lot of African soaps are made from. The only difference is with this one you have to mould it yourself into shape. I'd rather do this myself than pay a premium for the same thing.I have very dry skin and find this much less drying than other soaps and I love the fact that it's natural. The only down side is there's no scent, but I'm fine with that, I have my perfume and deodorants :)

Don't be deceived by its look
It may look all crumbled and littered in pieces, but I tell you if you can try as much as possible to put them together like a dough, you will be amazed at the end result. It is soft, squidgy and lathers so beautifully and doesn’t dry out the skin easily.Perfectly working for my children’s eczema.Great quality and great value for money.Highly recommended.

Supreme… sumptuous… soapy sensation❣️
If you’re expecting your conditioned idea of soap manufactured as a block for “cosmetic” purposes… then this will disappoint you… but if you uncondition your mind & approach this soap from a “beginner’s mind” perspective… as if you’ve never known soap before… then you will be impressed. I’ve suffered symptoms of eczema for decades & could never use any soap product. This is the 1st time I’ve used a soap product and that not only does it not dry out my skin… it does not cause any irritation either. With a sumptuous & rich lather & evidently deep cleanse… my skin feels moisturised & smooth to the touch. I’ve ditched all chemical & toxic cleansers for my skin… & hair… this makes a brilliant shampoo also… together with my pure organic almond oil conditioner & moisturiser my locks are looking luscious.Yes the bucket contains crumbly pieces but I just add a minuscule amount of water & it forms a permanent solid right until the soap eventually disappears with use. I bought a dark marble soap dish to show off the soap… as using a light or white coloured dish highlights the brown liquid residue that can remain in use which looks a bit messy & unsightly. So if you’re looking for a natural soap product that does 100% what soap & cleaners should do… then you need look no further!!!

Leathers well, no residue, mild formula
My son and I both used this twice a day and the container lasted 5 and a half months. I used ot on my hair and skin and it leaves skin soft, doesn't dry out my natural hair although I did use a good conditioner. The product was very crumbly but don't let it put you off, it clumps and moulds easily when wet.

Not a useful product
Black Soap is a natural product imported most often from Africa. I have been using it for about ten years. This supplier sent a plastic container that only had granules of soap in it - almost completely dry. It could be used if one had a damp sponge but that is not the type of Black Soap I am used to. Inconvenient and I suspect old and out of date. Whatever the reason it should clearly state "not fit for the purpose" on the description and that it requires further processing before using. I am basing this observation on my experience of using Gambian/Ghanian African Black soap. It was an expensive waste.

I love it.
Second time purchasing this product. I am squeaky clean after washing with this soap. It dries a little but that’s no issue for me. Smell is ok but I added coconut essence to mine.

Good African soap but in a messy clump.
This product was all clumped together in one big mass. Very crumbly and messy to deal with although when clumped together it would make a nice soap. It was good quality African soap but I just wished it was individual pieces as indicated in the advert.

Really good product
This is my go to brand. Really good product. Delivers in time and really good quality Black soap. The only possible downside is the plastic packaging. If there is a way to get refills as I have to keep throwing out the plastic tubs.
