KEFMu7 Wireless Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, Charcoal Grey

After being very dissappinted with the obvious choices, the Sony wh 1000mx5 and the Sennheiser momentum 4 (had to return both to warranty) I decided to give these a shot without really knowing what to expect other than being familiar of Kef's speaker offerings.There were no reviews on the i ternet at the time, so it was a vig gamble.After receiving the parcel the first thing that I boticed was much better build quality that the conpetitors I mentioned. The use of aluminium insead of plastic goves the Mu7 a sturdy feel. There is not much rattling or clicking when you move etc.Next thing I have noticed is there is no app required to run them, no extra settings, not even an EQ. This isn't a big deal for me though as I find all the options on the Sony and Sennheiser unnecessary fluff that I don't use anyway, but if that's something you are into keep that in mind.Then I put them on and... The first impression was absolutely awful - the sound was super bright and devoid of bass and bo EQ could save it. Concerned I have left them playing overnight to burn them in.I woke up the next morning put them on and WOW! I didn't even need EQ anymore! The sound was still improving and o the third day it settled to a very detailed, but powerful sound. I listen to a lot of electronic and metal music and both genres are handled well by the Mu7. Plenty of bass for the electronic music, but the bass isn't like on the Sony boomy, instead it's fast and punchy and I like it a lot. On theetal tracks the separation between the instruments is great and I've heard some new details in tracks that I knew for decades.There is no real soundstage though, so to experience that I will still use my loudspeakers.The ANC is quite good, but not excellentThe battery life is very good and quickcharge is working great so you will never run out of juice!

Love the design and all. And it does a great job on not to leak out music.Connections are fine. Everything is fine so far.But, it’s so heavy that my head hurts when I wear more than about 2 hours.

I've had the headphone for 12 weeks and only noticed by chance that the headband both sides has cracked. The top clip has also cracked, it looks like the metal band it putting too much pressure on the clip.There are other people complaining of the same fault on forums so this is a design flaw in my opinion. I’m really disappointed paid £350 which is not cheap for a pair of headphones.Sound wise, T3 review is fairly accurate they sound very “Hi-fi”. The midrange is good and there is no aggressiveness to the treble, which makes them non fatiguing to listen to for long period. They are also very comfortable. Listening to Pod casts, youtube videos is great for this, but on the flip side these headphones have no dynamics. Bass is limited and while the treble is all there, overall the sound does feel a bit safe.If they hadn’t broken, I would have been contented for many years accepting them for what they are, but my faith in the product is now gone and I would now prefer to choose something more open and dynamic sounding.

Really disappointing, flat and muffled sound. Bought these since I wanted noise cancelling that worked plugged in, for better sound quality than wireless in theory, but plugged in these actually sounded worse!Only pluses I can give them is the battery life is tremendous, and they look and feel great in the hands, but that's not enough without the sound to warrant putting them on. Returned them, got Sennheisers.

Great sounding headphones but after 3 weeks I noticed that the left ear cup fabric has a mark on it that looks like a tear that will only get worse with prolonged use, rang Amazon and returned them for a refund. Sorry about this because the sound was very good and the noise cancelling was good.

The sound quality on these are great, including the noise cancelling. The build and look is great. Everything else sucks.The sound control on the right side of the headphones is the exact opposite of intuitive.. I have been unable to use them correctly 100% of the time. I have simply given up using them. Problem is that I accidently end up touching them and there is no way to disable this in the app because....There is no app!At this price point it is expected that there would be some level of app experience. Simply just to enable/disable touch and some basic eq.

Don't bother, clear design flaw. Had these less than 2 months and the headband Cracked. Hardly used them. Sound wise, I was pretty impressed and was really enjoying the headphones. But the quality of them clearly poor. I've had a pair of Marley Positive vibrations for years that are still in perfect working order, yet a £350 pair of headphone cracked and broken so easily when I've always placed them neatly in the case and been cautious when expanding the headband. Very disappointed.

I can say the KEF Mu7 Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones are a “Good” pair of Headphones. I really like the KEF Mu7 Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones a lot from all of the features/functions, and performance. The Sound Quality was certainly real pleasing to my ears. I would say these headphones are certainly one of my #1 my Favorites of all headphones. The KEF Mu7 Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones box was well packaged and actually looked pretty fancy, and nicely presentable upon opening the box of headphones. The Kef Headphones have very good build quality, and good design styling. When it comes to music listening and audio, I would say the headphones feature a balance of deep bass, full midrange and crisp highs to ensure any genre of music sounds great with these wireless Bluetooth noise canceling headphones. I think the audio drivers reproduce accurate sound that meets a lot of the standards for a lot of Hi-Res Audio specifics.The KEF ear cups are plenty large, good and soft, and I can easily sit on the ears for a long time without any issue. The headphones with memory foam are pretty very comfortable, nice and light weight to wear for many hours at a time or to wear as needed. I liked them in terms of everything. I really love these KEF Headphones and I am so happy that I bought them. I would say that KEF Mu7 Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones music quality sound is just as good as a good pair of Bookshelf Stereo Speakers. If you have listened to a good pair of Bookshelf Speakers, or Monitor Studio Speakers, then you know what I am talking about, then you can imagine how good the KEF Headphones sound. The bass is nice, rich and clean on the KEF Headphones. The KEF Mu7 Headphones provide a very good listening experience when it comes to listening to “any” type of music. Słuchawki są piękne- ale niewygodne: mnie nie udało się znaleźć optymalnego położenia na głowie. Ale największy problem to brzmienie: o.ile w popie, czy w rocku, jeszcze ujdzie, o tyle w klasyce totalna porażka; dźwięk płaski, bez głębi, taki matowy, nudny. Rozczarowanie.

Tras probar todos los competidores directos creo que estos son los mejores tanto en calidad como en precio.Me encanta la filosofía de la marca y cómo han sido capaces de alinear su misión (de preservar el sonido modificándolo lo miniml posible) con una respuesta en frecuencia plana.Otro aspecto de interés es el ANC, muy efectivo en las bajas frecuencias con una atenuación muy elevada. No obstante en las altas frecuencias no se percibe gran atenuación.No obstante, para ser superiores en todas las categorías les faltaría una app propia y algunas otras funciones como el modo de sonido ambiente que tienen los Apple Earpods Max.

Pur non amando le cuffie bluetooth, le ho acquistate perché reputo kef un’azienda che produce ottimi prodotti.Le ho associate a un FiiO M17, i suoni sono ben bilanciati ma quelle che le rende ottime, secondo la mia esperienza, é il tempo di utilizzo d’ascolto senza avere nessun affaticamento da ascolto é questo vuol dire tanto per qualsiasi cuffia con o senza cavo.Se state pensando alle concorrenti, nella fascia economica di acquisto simile, Sennheiser, Bower & Wilkins o Sony, pensateci bene, le consiglio vivamente.
