I love this seriesWe have bought books one and two so far and my daughter has used them from a complete beginnerIt goes at a really managable pace and the pieces are interspersed with music reading and theory exercises too which is good (although we did buy another theory book for additional practise)My daughter has just started book 2 and I can't believe how well she is doing. The book has really helped her to improve in easy stages and she finds the pieces fun tooI highly recommend this user friendly book for any beginner, but especially children (my daughter was 6 when she started using them)

Great delivery and lovely book

This book and this course works for me. I’m learning primarily on my own. I have a little input from a teacher. He is giving tips and guidance that I didn’t pick up from the books. I have to make my self slow down and read each page properly and do all the basic exercises. When I do this it works for me. I do a few pages at a time but I go back and forth. I like to repeat the exercises many times and by doing multiple pages it keeps it interesting. I am 49 and eventually getting round to learning. This is working for me. I would recommend buying an book of easy play music of a genre that you enjoy. I bought simple hymn tunes. This has helped me practice more easily.I having nothing to compare this too. I am using this course as book 1 came with the keyboard I bought second hand.

very good book, easy to understand and fun.Inside has some fun picture so eyes catching the children and have few fun practice sheet. Already collect part 1 and 2 now, thinking to buy part 3.

My son is in year 3 and undergoing piano lessons, the teacher recommended this book for his lessons, it is for beginners , easy to pick up and follow .

Nice little work through book for kids and beginners. My daughter used the first book and is now working her way through this one. She finds them easy to follow and good.

My son is enjoying learning the piano using this book. I’ve bought book 2 too. I think some children might find it moved on quite quickly.
