These sit-mats are so useful all year round and one of the most regularly used pieces of our outdoor kit’'. We have several and take them on all our outings, treks and picnics so we can sit on wet grass, damp benches, soggy leaves, hard rocks, frost or ice, dusty areas or any surface at all without worrying about having a wet bum, stained clothing or carrying sand/dust around in our clothing for the following days. When kayaking in the depths of winter using a sit-on kayak with only a very thin seat, adding one of these mats beneath provides highly beneficial additional insulation from the cold plastic and even colder water beneath.The mats are 38 x 27.5cm and 1cm thick when unfolded but in especially chilly weather to avoid sitting on ice can be used half-folded as a 27 x 19cm mat now 2cm thick offering greater comfort and insulation from the cold. They’re also good to use as kneeling pads, particularly when folded.For carrying, they fold into a 27 x 9.5 x 3.8cm thick pad which can be easily carried in a backpack or even stuffed into the cargo leg pocket of many trousers and at just 30g, the weight is barely noticed. So far, ours have lasted 2 years and still have much life left in them. Brilliant – very highly recommended and a gift at the price.

Yes very lightweight, easy to carry and use on shingle beach, picnic etc. I have just used it for kneeling when painting my fence, works a treat and is good value.

This product is good for the price. Purchased this in December 2019 and then again in June 2021. The recent purchase is slightly smaller and lighter than the original purchase but still good value.

have only used it a few times so far but seems strong enough to last a while. I sat on a rock outside on a very cold wet day during a hike and it was well insulated. great value for money and arrived sooner than expected as I'd been told it could take a few weeks - actually took just about two but worth waiting for.

Quite a flimsy foam pad, I wouldn't say this would last that long for lots of camp trips to use as a kneel pad, but I think as a cheap lightweight pad for hiking so you can sit down, it would serve it's purpose. Definitely opt for something else if you are looking to use on the ground in camp

I had ordered this six weeks ago and had given up hope. Today it arrived and I’m deleted with it. Perfect for taking a break while out with walking group. Perfect size when folded to go in rucksack.

Quick del, good price, very light

This was VERY cheap and as such is brilliant value. Its not as thick as the name versions but it does the job. Time will tell how long it'll last but at less than £1 including postage it's a steal.

Great for camping and the arena. Very light and compact, also using it in our vehicles during cold winter days as they feel warm almost instantly and they are easy to fold and put away if not needed. Great product for the price.
