Simple, Safe and very well thought-out.
T90Very well made and as per usual with FLUKE extremely well designed for intuitive and safe operation. Sheesh I sound like a FLUKE salesperson, but I'm not.One of the most important things with electrical testers is that they are simple and safe and fast. You really don't want anything complex, that just increases the chance of a mistake and literally death. You unpack this and it's ready to go. No buttons to press, no on switch, no range, nothing. It's just there and ready. It works out whether you need voltage or continuity testing and you are always safe. There is nothing for you to do other than use it and take readings. There are no switches. It indicates voltage if there is one and does a continuity test if there is no voltage present. There is an instruction sheet, or in fact a huge wad of them, since they did one in every conceivable language and decided to include every single one in every single box, lol, but really one quick read and you realise there is nothing to learn lol.My only reservation is that I would have liked it to have a crocodile clip for the negative lead. It does have fat probe contacts that screw over the small ones.I would just like to point out that Fluke seemed to have changed the continuity test because one reviewer complains there is no beep for one second. That's no longer true. The unit beeps immediately and is a slow beep for continuity and a very fast beep for voltage. One thing that is really handy is that it beeps when in contact with 240V even when the -ve is not connected to anything. The probe cover also has a tab on it for depressing the earth shield in standard UK sockets. That is really handy. The probes are also spaced so they fit directly in to a UK mains socket. Again, very handy. Typical Fluke, a very well thought-out piece of kit. They are expensive but really they are just so well thought-out that they are worth it.

Best value voltage and continuity tester out there...Used for audio cable testing and rear view camera install.
I bought this T90 fluke tester, when installing a rear view camera in a car. I needed to locate a 12v DC source and this helped immensely. I also used it to test the continuity of some audio cables, and again it worked perfectly. The packaging is good, the manual gives clear instructions (15 different languages). This tester was ridiculously easy to use, there's no buttons to press on the T90, I made sure, I carried out a self test, before using it (touch and hold the two probe tips together). The build quality and design was second to none. With the T90, you get two extra tips, which can be stored in the cap so you don't loose them. In operation, this tester was so simple to use. After the self test, I just probed the opposite ends of two audio cables for a continuity test, if the circuit was complete, then an indicator would light up and an audible beep would occur. In the car test, I put the black probe on an earthed source, and probed each cable until the 12v DC icon lit up, with an audible beep. So in conclusion, if you're after a reliable voltage and continuity tester that wont break the bank, this is the one. The Fluke brand is synonymous with quality.

Good Product
Great bit of kit for the price, great for automotive and technical fault finding for myself, couldn’t justify the more expensive options but this works great for me.
