'Ooooops! They're reversible!
They look fine but didn't realise that they are ' reversible' until I took the old ones out, so didn't need a 'new set' after all. Still, it's always handy to have a spare set for next time and they didn't cost the earth.

B;ack and Decker planer seals
In the B&D literature it's not exactly clear about the part number (see B&D web site) for the planer blades, so I purchased these to clear up the issue. As it turns out, despite the installation being a bit fiddley, they fit the housing and they have worked well. So I'me feeling quite positive about these items. Incidentally they arrived quickly, well packed and no problems.

Do the job
Made a huge difference compared to the old and worn blades! Easy to fit and perfectly adequate for irregular users of planers. Double-edged too so they can be turned round when the first edge wears or gets damaged.

Wrong size consistently supplied.
These blades are clearly described as 1.2mm thick and the photograph of the packaging on the amazon page clearly shows the thickness as 1.2mm. Twice I ordered this product and twice I returned it because the blades supplied are clearly marked as 1.1mm thick.The clamps on my planer will not grip 1.1mm blades tightly and when screwed down full there is movement in the blade. I believe that using them could lead to very serious injury.I will not be ordering this product a third time from Amazon.
