Great for putting practice. It only works if you USE IT! I wish I had one.

Easy to put together and it works great.

The media could not be loaded. This was a hit when I set it up during a recent holiday family gathering. You don't need to be an avid golfer to have fun with it, though my father does play 18 holes of golf every Sunday and he got a kick out of this home putting green. Of course, it doesn't really realistically simulate an actual real putting green because of the slope right before the hole, but it's fun in the way that mini-golf is fun. Also, the ball return that is water/sand trap themed just adds to the fun design.The putting green arrives rolled up and already attached to the plastic ramp and platform that holds the hold and the sand/water traps. The only parts you need to assemble are the ball-return rail and the backing to the green that prevents your ball from flying past the hole and leaving a dent in your wall. It's simple enough to get everything together. The last piece is the plastic ring that you insert into the putting hole. This part gave us some problems which I'll talk about later.The faux-green mat is well made and evenly tufted, and once unrolled we appreciated that the creases were minimal and when stretched out and tight disappeared completely. The distance markers are well printed and the guidelines are nice to improve your putting skills. Maximum putting distance using the markers is 8-ft long, but you can hit from beyond that last marker, which gives you about an extra foot to hit from for a greater challenge.The only problem we encountered with this set was the aforementioned white putting hole ring, which is meant to go in one way but doesn't quite fit and inevitably sits slightly above the hole at an odd angle, creating a raised edge that makes getting the ball into the hole more difficult that it should be. Fortunately, the ring is not essential and you would be completely fine just leaving it in the box. Or you can trim about a centimeter of plastic at the bottom of the ring and it should fit better.overall this is a great, fun home putting green mat if you want to practice or just waste time with. highly recommended!

Easy to assemble, helps me putt straight

This is a much better putting trainer than any others I've seen out there! First, it is very long, and has different distances marked, so you can use that as a guide/ learning tool. Second, it has a hole and two 'hazard' holes as well, all which feed into a ball return! Nothing more annoying than having to walk up and retrieve your ball each time. And the ball return actually works, returning all the way to the end of the slide (which is not quite all the way to the end of the mat, but reachable with your club if you don't want to change your alignment before next attempt). Third, well obviously, the ball return! Fourth, just before the hole there is an upslope so that adds another challenge for you to practice speed on incline. Also, there are other nice features like a backboard to stop your ball if you overshoot the hole, and line markings on the mat to see how straight (or not) your swing path, and ball path are. It is on the long side, so it does take up a bit of room when in use, but rolls up quickly and easily and can store back in box when not in use. As I work from home, this is a great excuse to get me up from my desk every few hours and take a break, while improving my putting game! Love it, highly recommend it for yourself or as a fantastic gift for a golf lover. Great at home or at the office to relieve stress and add a little fun or competition into the work place.

Bought for home practice, the materials were okay, but lt the design was too simple and does not worth the value of money spent.

The media could not be loaded. I put a "Putting tips" YouTube on.. while I practiced. The putting mat helps to get that stroke down.. probably not so good for practicing your hitting distance..having to go up a steep ramp, the trade off is the ball returning to you. Not sure why the white cup isn't installed properly for you at the factory? It kept popping up, after inspecting the cup..i trimmed some of the grass carpet away from where the cup seats, i may end up just gluing it in place too. Having to mess with the cup is the reason i gave it 4stars. I also got a good laugh when reading the box where it says "Ractice Putting Year Round".(see photo) lol. Anyhow, i would recommend. It's fun and descent practice. Thanks for reading/watchingUpdate: I didn’t plan on leaving this mat out, but I did..and when I would see it,I would just use it..taking a usually much needed break from whatever stress I was dealing with at the time..Turned out to be pretty therapeutic too! Now I’m pretty much hooked! Putting was The one thing I should’ve been practicing but never did. Repetition is the mother of perfection! Now I’m really confident and consistent. The return that is supposed to carry your ball back never worked. My husband tried to jimmy it up to work but it never did. I asked for a return one day too late and was told too bad. Don’t buy this unless you want to waste your money. The seller said no to the return, not Amazon but Amazon was no help either. Total waste of my time and money.
