Converter and amplifier
My new LG 43UJ701V has no 3.5 audio jack. So I used this converter to convert the 'optical digital audio out' to get a 3.5 jack to connect my RF headphones. Worked perfectly and bonus is it amplified the audio signal of my Sky satellite receiver.Remember you will require a digital optical cable as not included.

they did send me the wrong power cable as it takes a usb charger instead so you might want to pick up one that looks just like the power port in the picture
It's exactly what it says. It's converted my sound into 5.1 due to my tv not outputting 5.1 and my amp not supporting an Optical port. I purchased this to enable my wife to use headphones with our new tv as it has no headphone jackpoint,I use Sony wireless head phones connected to converter the volume and clarity is good does what it says on the tin

I would have given 5 stars but the wrong power lead was supplied. Otherwise I am very satisfied that it does what it is supposed to.

Excellent quality/price ratio
Works very well, the sound is very clear. They only issue that I had was iwith the volume button which has some issues when you want to increase the volume. Excellent quality/price ratio.
