It's a Scubb and in my view the best Capo you can buy
Wonderful design, easy to use, looks retro-cool and dosn't burden the strings on my Atkin 012s with a significant tension that pulls her out of tune. Genius tbh

C1K 6 String Guitar Noir - Low profile, wonderfully engineered, good looking, performs as it should
This is a review of the C1K 6 String Guitar Noir.I wanted something low-profile, well-engineered and functions as it should (good, even tension on strings without putting them out of tune) for my Gibson SG, Fender Strat, and Fender acoustic. I'm no expert on guitars or capos, but after researching the options online, this seemed the best. I love the design, small size, and the fact it doesn't look like a giant hair clip like most other capos. The black finish makes it even less noticeable. A real quality product, easy to adjust to just the right tension and a pleasure to use. Also, great price on Amazon.

capo is good
Way better than my old capo ..ie so easy to put on and it just works. Feels like a quality product. Everyone says this is the best and now I can see why. In case anyone is wondering it fits a 1 3/4 inch Taylor 12 fret neck which is a tad wider than the norm.

great little capo
This capo is quite small but feels solid and nicely made. Its design is deceptively simple, allowing you to attach and remove it easily, and also adjust the pressure very accurately with a screw to sit comfortably on any thickness of neck. It works well on curved fingerboards as the rubber 'barre' is generously thick and soft. There's also ample padding (feels like the same material) to avoid damaging the underside of the neck. I've used the strap-type capo for many years and wondered why my guitar always went out of tune further up the neck. Now I know, simply adjust the pressure to mimic your barring finger - no more, no less. Definitely worth the money.

Shubb capo
Just received my Shubb capo, the Noir model for acoustic or electric guitar and it is super! Very small and neat and so easy to adjust perfectly for any guitar and yes, it does fit acoustic or electric models. It feels very secure without requiring excessive pressure to fit so will not damage the neck of your guitar. Such a tiny item compared to some of the clunky capos I have owned but does the job excellently! I shall be sticking with this make in future as it seems a very robustly made item with no sharp edges but being so dinky will be easy to transport in a spare pocket! Just the perfect, a really cleverly designed capo! I recommend it!

So small. So light. So simple. So effective.
I had or still have a range of very different capos ... traditional ratchet and 'elasticated rubberised bar' types - G7th - Kyser and this Shubb. I dislike the Kyser as it seems so powerful that it crushes everything. The G7 is very effective and works brilliantly. The old traditional type also works well but is a bit fiddly to fit, move or remove. The Shubb beats them all. It's adjustably screw-controlled gripping mechanism means that it is exceptionally versatile and easy to use (same as the G7th). It is unbelievably light and so never upsets the balance of your guitar when fitted (which the heavy G7th can, on occasions). It's grip on the strings can be as gentle or strong as you wish. It is, in virtually all respects a perfect combination or form, funtion and usability; suitable for both professional and amateur players. It's only weakness has more to do with you than it ... because it is so small, light and unobtrusive, it can be rather easy to put down and mislay. Because of the way it works, it isn't usually possibly to grip it onto the end of your headstock (which is where the Kyser scores and, if you don't mind the risk of imbalance, also the G7th). That apart - it's perfect.Other capos and capo-types referred to in this review are - Kyser Acoustic Guitar Quick Change Capo - Black G7th Performance Capo for 6-String Electric/Acoustic Guitar Stagg SCPM-C Curved Metal Capo for Electric and Accoustic Guitars Elastic Guitar Capo AXL Flat Elastic Capo

A Fantastic Capo
This capo is one of the best capos I have used in my 10 years of playing guitar, it has a fantastic build quality and most importantly works very well! I have had this capo for 3 years now and it still works just as great as it did when I first bought it. You can use this capo on both electric and acoustic guitars thanks to the adjustment screw , ideal if your guitar necks are all different sizes. This capo will work on Classical guitars until you get to the 6th fret onwards, because of the flat board radius and the width of Classical guitar necks the High e will slip under the capo. However the product description clearly states for Acoustic and Electric, you would need a specially designed capo for Classical guitar use.I would strongly recommend this capo for any acoustic or electric player, capos are huge fun to experiment with. Give it a go!

Brilliant Capo
I have been using these shubb capos since the 1980’s And yes I’ve also tried other good capos over the years which were also fairly good. But I have always ended up going back to these shubbs. They’re my all time favourite capo. Very reliable and very neat looking on the neck of my guitar. I would very highly recommend them. But I know everyone will have different views about them. For me though, there’ll never be any other capo. Shubb is most definitely my go to capo.

Works great!
I like it, and much more than my previous spring-clamp-type capo, even though it also had an adjustable pressure screw. I wanted a new one due to my spring capo getting in the way of my hand when playing certain open chords, especially a B7, so I wanted one with a low profile. I also just didn't like the way it looked sticking out from the fret board as much as it didThis capo works great, looks great, doesn't get in the way, and is very affordable. I've found with both capos, to get the best tuning with the capo on without actually retuning the guitar (which I don't like doing cause my ears are too picky), I put the capo at a bit of an angle, with the clamp around the middle of the fret on the low/bottom end, and much closer to the fret on the high/top end. Then you can adjust the clamp pressure to dial it in. That has worked nicely for me.

Excelente.

It's pretty good
Arrived well within expected time lineWorks really well. Advantage of this kind of capo over trigger ones is that you can control the tension the capo excerts on the strings. Not only does it help keep intonation, but it also helps protect your strings from wear and tears - especially noticeable if you use coated strings or lighter gauge strings. It is smaller than I expected it to be tho. Not too bad but it just about goes across all my guitar's fingerboard - not an issue on my acoustics or electric guitars but can be an issue if you have a wide fingerboard like some acoustic steel strings or classical guitars.
