I belive mine came from China. Haven't seen 2 variants of this doll.

Any advice for fixing her split ends without melting?

I washed and conditioned her hair then trimmed the straggly bits and then ran hot water over it to straighten it.if you're careful you can leave the little top knots in nd just kind of do the rest
