Best shaver ever
Innovative and so easy to use. Best machine I ever owned. Edges, surfaces... it does it all with minimum hassle and maximum results once you get used to it - very short learning curve. It does not go deep down into your skin... but hey, none of us never had a deep shave last long. This is like after a deep shave... 3 hrs later. I charged it when I got it more than a month ago, still going strong with 2 weekly shaves. Great product.

Exceptional
I had to shave my dad and as a novice was worried of cutting him. This for me was safe. Easy to use, really good shave what ever the stubble, beard etc wish there was a lady's one. Blades last ages.

Great for a quick body shave (tattoos) but just ok for face
I've been looking to pick up a shaver that let me do a quick body hair trim to de-fuzz my tattoos and hopefully double up as a face shaver as well. This is almost the one, almost. For a quick arm and chest hair trim the OneBlade works really well. Its quick and easy to use and leaves a great result. I dont have thick body hair and I'm not looking for a complete skin shave so I'm really happy with the results. For how I'm using it I find that a dry shave with no guard works best.Shaving my face was a different story. I tried dry and wet shaving and the results were always disappointing. Its not just that you dont get a close shave, you actually end up with a short stubble end of the day look but patchy as well. It was for me anyway. With a guard on you can do an ok job of doing a quick stubble look trim.DO NOT try this on the downstairs region without a guard. Nope. Nu-huh. Big mistake. Blood was drawn. Dont do it.

I have very heavy growth and this is by for the best electric shaver I've ever tried
Seriously impressed !!It's not often something lives up to the hype but this definitely does.I have very heavy growth and this is by for the best electric shaver I've ever tried. The difference between this and a wet shave is so small it's not worth mentioning. The head glides across your skin with little effort and no tugging. It does take slightly longer than a wet shave but I can live with that considering the saving over buying disposable blades.

This is the best choice of all the OneBlade models in terms of Value vs *Performance (*cough cough).
If you're going to buy a Philips OneBlade shaver, then this QP2530 has got to be the best model to get in terms of Value vs Performance. This has a far superior Li-Ion battery that delivers 60 minutes run time after a 4 hour charge (compared to the inferior battery of the QP2520 model - which gives you 45 minutes after 8 hour charge). The 2 top models (QP6510 & QP6520) do have faster charging time and longer run time, BUT are not only uglier (IMO), but also VERY un-ergonomic to hold in your hand compared to these 'green' models!I make this comparison because I also own the top QP6520 model (purchased originally purely because of the adjustable trimming comb and the charging base/stand) but this QP2530 is far easier to hold, control, turn on & off, etc. It's a shame that Philips do not provide a generic charging stand for these green models because I find that I don't need the 'precision adjustment comb' of the QP6520, especially when the fixed length combs that come with this QP2530 suffice. And it's only the lack of a stand / charging base that lets this model down in the accessory department. Are these 2 main differences worth the £30-£40 price difference between this and the top model? In hind-sight, I know which one I would pick if buying from scratch! Actually, with real hind-sight I would have stayed away from this Oneblade product altogether...but that's another story.Incase this is your first time buying a oneblade, then as far as 'performance' is concerned the nature of the design of these shavers allows you to be fairly accurate with beard lines during trimming compared to other shaver types by different brands. And - Yes, its great that you can either wet or dry shave and even get the shaver wet in the shower... but really, that's as good as it gets. You have to bare in mind that these oneblades in no way trim or shave as close as the hype led you to believe. And realistically, 'performance' isn't Oneblade's best attribute as it ALWAYS requires multiple passes over the same area to cut all the hairs. Doesn't matter what model version of Philips Oneblade you use, a complete shaving takes at least twice longer compared to ANY other form of shaver I've ever come across (that's just based from my 35+ years of actual shaving experience with all kinds of shavers).Of course, if you're buying one of these purely for shaving the 'body hair' department, then I suppose it will serve it's purpose quite well - like I said, the design of the blades allows you to be fairly accurate and if you miss the odd hair, it at least won't be as obvious as missing a hair on your chin. All that aside, remember: you'll have to factor in additional cost of more 'blades' every 4 months or so (which is approx £35 a year) - that is providing you only shave 2 or 3 times a week, otherwise if you shave daily, then the life of the blade will half and you'll be looking at double that cost per year.If you're determined to purchase a Philips Oneblade, then ask yourself if you've considered alternatives? ... and god forbid, if you STILL persist in wanting one of these, then at least I hope I've made it easier in your choosing of which bad-apple to spend your money on!

Best razor
Wow. this product is awesome.Ive tried many electric razors over the years but always end up going back to the standard safety razor. Not any more, this product is a combination of both electric and safety razor. The hair literally jumped off my face first time using it.No shaving foam, no water, just run the blade across your face in long strokes. (against the hair growth)I was worried about not using shaving foam/Gel would cause skin irritation but no..... the blade never actually touches your skin and almost impossible to cut your skin. this was actually my main concern when buying.Highly recommend this as a switch from your safety razor or if your looking to change to a better electric razor. very happy customer.
