I bought these solely to use as outdoor lumber racks along side a shed. The price was right and they are not ugly. I doubled them up (mounting two side by side) and they have held a lot of weight for a few months now with no sign of wear or weakening.These come in a matte black paint finish are typically used indoors, I believe. Not super rugged, but they fulfill a need quite well and I'd buy again for other uses.

I had ordered an actual punching bag bracket, but it was incomplete at delivery and was unavailable for re-order. I found these to have the suitable weight capacity to hang the bag (kids size, maybe 7 lbs). I used 2 side by side just to be sure, anchored into a wall stud. The brackets are solid, with all the weight at the end they barely flex even with impact on the bag. If used for a shelf, even stronger. Great product especially for the price.

I use these shelf brackets for an alternative purpose. For chicken roost frame. They haven't broke and I've had them for a year. The up/down strength is very strong. The left/right movements do wobble when a chicken jumps off of the single frame. Still hasn't broke but for longevity if using this for it's unintended purpose than a book shelf, I recommend supporting the left/right movement's' against a perpendicular wall to make it super strong ( which i did to a few of my brackets)I'm very satisfied with the product and it's value and how well it held up against the daily abuse chickens do to it.A little stronger horizontal stability would be a nice future revision if the manufacture happen to read my comments.

Used these in our garden to create alattice for our kiwi plant. The brackets are well made. The screws they provide are not as strong and need to have a pilot hole drilled first before screwing them in.

Do not use the drywall anchor hardware. It is a complete joke. Go get actual good brand name drywall screw it anchors because these will technically hold it from coming off the wall but I can grip the screw head and back the screw out by hand when inserted all the way. Can shake the hangers and if I give it a good yank out with one hand I can easily rip it off the wall. Great hangers but terrible hardware

These are not "heavy duty " as advertised. The description does not provide material thickness, which is critical. The 600lb rating is incorrect. In short, these are intermediate grade brackets. The thin diagonal reinforcement makes them better than the plain angle brackets at the big box store, but not nearly as strong as the heavy duty brackets at the big box store. They are nicely made, and very inexpensive. For shelves in a pantry, great. For shelves in a garage or shop, maybe not, or use twice as many per shelf..
