SeikoMen's Analogue Quartz Watch with Stainless Steel Bracelet – SNK355K

Solid steel and a good big bracelet make this a good build. The movement is tried and tested and the face is lovely. There seems to be some confusion in the feedback. This is a purely mechanical watch with a rotor powering a spring. If you find you don’t have enough power take time out to swing your arm backwards and forwards a fair few times...........the power stored in the spring will be increased.I am chuffed with this watch............a watch that looks good, has a good movement, and should last indefinitely if looked after.Five stars.

Great watch for the money, looks great

This is a very nice looking watch, and seems to be good quality. Unfortunately, however, we had to return it as the information given on the website was incorrect. We thought that the watch was waterproof down to a depth of three metres. However, on reading the instructions that came with it, it became clear that it was not even waterproof enough to wear in the bath or shower. My husband wanted a waterproof watch. One strange feature, also, was that the day display showed "SAB" i.e. abbreviation for Sabado, the Spanish for Saturday! This was not a problem, but the lack of water resistance was.

Great watch for the price. Beautiful dial with the "5" (from Seiko 5) pattern spread/imprinted faintly all over the dial. With the addition of a custom leather strap, this timepiece is transformed. Pls note that the lug width here is 18mm. Case is a tad shorter (lug-to-lug) as compared to an SNXS7XK, and also carries a brushed part, i.e. is not polished to its totality.

I bought a similar watch 15 years ago as I was fed up of straps breaking on cheaper watches. My old Seiko kept great time and was going strong, but I sadly lost it at an airport when I took it off at security. I ordered a new one, and it's just as good as before- keeps great time and is powered automatically.Set up was easy as it's essentially the same as the old one. Like meeting an old friend again.

I brought this watch as a replacement for my old Seiko watch which was showing signs of wear and tear. It is my 4th Seiko watch in 40+ years so you can take it I am more than happy with Seiko quality.One negative - It does not come with the usual presentation box - just a plain white box so it may not be the best choice for a gift, but as this was for my own use, the type of box was immaterial.On the positive side, the standard bracelet is more than large enough for my wrist - in the past I have always need to get additional links to insert into the bracelet.I don't know if it is actually waterproof to the claimed 30 metres - on the back of the watch it says water resistant, but for me this isn't critical - I don't intend wearing it for watersports.

Bought this watch for my dad's birthday to replace a watch he has had for over 40 years and he wanted a similar type.....my dad is very fussy but he absolutely loves this watch ....so if my dad likes it then it must be good! !! Excellent value would 100% recommend this.

I purchased this watch and after 10 months noted that it lost about 10 minutes per week. I tracked this for a while and then contacted the seller who said that it needed servicing every year (every 10 months?) as he did for his Rolex(??!!). I was quoted £100 for a service, on a watch that cost £60. This is neither of reasonable quality nor value for money, so 'caveat emptor' for any others considering a similar purchase. I would not be surprised to get the same trite, unhelpful comment from the seller that has been posted against other negative reviews.
