CND STICKEY Anchoring Base Coat - 9.8ml (.33 fl oz)

I have always had such a problem with my nails chipping within a few hours sometimes of painting them. I've tried so many base coats in addition to top coats including Orly Bonder and OPI but they haven't been effective at all. I read that it can sometimes be because of the chemistry of the nails and some people are just unfortunately not blessed with nails that are to be painted. I figured it was worth one last shot so bought this. So glad I did - finally, my manicures last! They now last a few days which for me is a miracle. Perhaps for people who don't have the problems I did it would last quite long. It also protects quite well against staining on the nail too - I've used a range of colours including the usual reds and blues that stain with little impact if any on my nails. In short, this is well worth the money and I will forever be using this base coat from now on!

I ordered two bottles. One was fine and is excellent on my nails. The accompanying bottle was only half full, had a consistency like treacle and it was impossible to use. I contacted the seller, who responded quickly and, after me supplying them with photos, is replacing the faulty bottle. Another reviewer appears to have had the same problem so it appears to be a QA issue. The product is excellent, so if you get a faulty one, I’d recommend contacting the seller immediately for a replacement.

This is the best base coat I have found, I do my own nails now, given up on acrylics. This helps nail varnish stay on for a full week without chipping. The bottle lasts for ages too.

This base coat is good and makes my nail polish last for a long time, I’m just not sure if it’s as good as other basecoats I’ve used (like the orly rubberised one or nailsinc super food) I’m still using it till I run out as it does usually prevent chips for over a week but with other brands I’ve been able to last my nail polish for over 2 weeks so I probably won’t repurchase

I've been using this for many months now and it does a good job - it has a tacky consistency which makes the nail polish colour stick to your nail and protects the nail somewhat from discolouration from direct contact with the nail colour. Better than some other brands that I've tried.

I got this to help me use water slide decals as it’s supposed to have a slightly sticky finish but it dried down completely! Complete waste of time.

This base coat has a great consistency, not too thick and goopy but not too thin and streaky. It's quite self-levelling so the nail colour on top applies smoothly.

Really good and definitely makes the varnish last well however on pale or translucent colours it gives a green tinge , fine under opaque or darker shades
