Great product
Works very well and for along time on wood not exposed to water. I wish it came in a smaller size because a little goes along ways. I apply with a paint brush. The product has a very strong smell that horses do not like so apply only in well ventilated areas preferably when the horses are not in the area for about an hour while it dries.

Work real well stopped the horse trilling the wood, but after a week, it rained quite hard and did not seem to work quite as well

Does not work at all!
I have 2 Donkeys that chew wood posts and the wood frame inside their barn. As soon as I put this on they were licking it and chewing the wood worse than before. I bought 2 spray bottles and a big container of it. Now I am stuck with a product that is totally ineffective. Even my horse likes it!!! Doesn't work and not cheap!!!

Can was in plastic bag and sealed in a box. also didn't work for me
The can leaked about 1 inch in the plastic bag and really smelled when delivered.The plastic bag really saved a bad mess but the box was getting damp.UPS guy was glad to get it out of his truck due to strong smell. I lost about 4 oz of product.will buy local next time.update - After multiple coats of the product, the horse is still chewing. I've chosen to find a natural way to stop the chewing.

Works great...until it rains.
I used my paint sprayer to apply this stuff, and it is indeed hot smelling! I had to put a painters mask and safety goggles on as I was applying it, and would recommend that you do the same.Worked great. My horses didn't want anything to do with the rails...until it rained and yep, you guessed it: went right back to chewing. So, unless you want to re-apply after every rain, snow, or any other moisture gets on your wood, I wouldn't bother with it.

Great stuff to stop horses from chewing up the wood on fences or in the barn. Does a great job. You do have to re-apply it after a rain or every so often. Some horses are more resistant than others. I use the clear because it doesn't show .
