I have been searching for some time now for a set of quality colour pencils for my drawingart hobby. This Wyvern set appeared to cover all my needs so I thought I would try it out.Not disappointed, a great selection of quality oil based pencil colours, a beautiful case forstoring and organising all of the items. The training DVD’s are a real bonus and havehelped me enormously with my own drawing and shading skills. The strong storage box is areally good idea too. A great product, top marks all round :-)

This is the 2nd set we've bought but where as the first set were excellent, the 2nd set the leads keep braking and the sharpener doesn't work very well. I'm disappointed as I loved mine

I am so disappointed with these pencils. After reading really good reviews & paying good money for them, I am really frustrated at their quality - the pencils break repeatedly whenever they are sharpened. I only opened the box 3 days ago & have not used them a great amount, but am already half way down the black pencil, purely through having to sharpen it as it keeps breaking!!!! I am working on an illustrative project and cannot use these, so am now forced to return them. Although the quality and intensity of the colour are great, the quality of the nib themselves is really poor. In all a very disappointing product.

Bought these pencils with primarily our eldest son in mind as he has recently moved on to secondary school and is now doing more art. However I'm rather tempted to get back into sketching and colouring again as they really are lovely quality pencils and I'd forgotten how therapeutic colouring in can be! Next purchase will have to be one of the grown up colouring books I keep seeing everywhere.The description said that the pencils are oil based and I wasn't really sure what difference that would make/mean but when you use them they are much smoother than your standard pencils and you can create much better shading with them. We also found that the colours were a lot brighter/stronger than standard pencils.I initially chose these pencils because I liked the fact that they had their own case and that there was plenty of colours/shades to choose from but I've been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the actual pencils too. Definitely value for money.

Really pleased with this colour pencil set, great packaging and delivery, just what you expect from Amazon, first class. What I really like about this set, apart from the carry case and storage box, is that it has been produced not for professional artists but for people who want quality colour pencils without the high cost. Colour selection is good and they lay down colour really well; good product gets my vote.

Just starting out in art and these were bought based on their price I have not been disappointed found that they don't break while pressing on,sharpen easily. They are made in China but claim to be Faber Casteel or it could be that it's just the colour chart inside the lid of the box? The pencils come in a canvas pencil case which has 4sides with elastic loops to hold the pencils it also comes in a good quality box with a magnetic flap and a double dvd to help with using coloured pencils,have not been disappointed with these a good starter pack.

Our eldest daughter has become very keen on art and drawing so we wanted a set of coloring pencils that would be more suitable for adults. The Wyvern package is just the job. Great quality products, ideal for taking on her travels, and a super storage box for safe keeping at home. She really likes this set as it is very personal. Well recommended.”

I have been an graphic artist for a number of years and always on the lookoutfor quality products I can use for my work. Good quality colour pencils are usuallyvery expensive and sometimes not that good. These set of pencilsbridge that gap between the expensive and cheap options, ideal for what I want.Love the quality of the whole package, very professional, very pleased.
