Hanging Automatic Food and Water Dispenser, Gravity Rabbit Feeder Set, Cage Cat and Bunny Food Bowl (Cage Grid Spacing Over 1.2'')

The media could not be loaded.  I have a very young bunny and we are still working on potty-training, so she is not fully free-roam yet. Thus, we have a cage for when we are out of the room. It's a decently sized cage, but we only felt there was room for the water bowl (see the video for the cage setup). One thing we didn't anticipate is that the piece that fits through the gate was too wide for our cage wires, so we had to use wire cutters to remove a section of the wire cage.I don't love that you can't lower it at all. It makes sense, but we have a flat-bottomed cage for her feet, so the water is pretty high up (another reason we didn't want to put the food one in - we didn't want her eating food standing up all the time).She doesn't mind putting her little front feet on the edge of the water bowl to get the water, and we put a little glass food bowl underneath it, so it fits perfectly in the corner of her cage. I just wish the food one could be of more use.Cleaning the water dish is a little difficult because of its shape, but it's not the end of the world (and it's definitely necessary, because this chica backwashes like crazy!). I wash it every 2 or 3 days and it could probably even use it more often than that. But it is good that she always has fresh water and cannot flip it over.

I was really excited about these! The water one works great although it's a bit flimsy. The food one, on the other hand, does not fit our Midwest ferret nation crate properly. I had to force it to fit between the bars of their pen. Make sure to measure the distance of your pen to be sure it will fit.

My bun bun loves to play and would constantly throw her water bowl and food bowl making a huge mess. Now everthing is nice and tidy and she has water and bunny food when she wants. I found these very easy to assemble and they seem durable. Very pleased with this purchase.

This product could have been great, BUT IT"S NOT! I have two kittens in an XL dog cage and there was not enough space between the bars to accommodate proper attachment. The design should allow you to only have to feed the dowls through the bars and wind the securing knob tight. the feeders should fit to the inside of the cage and the dowls feed to the back so you could secure them. ( Not the case )It took quite a bit of time and trouble to secure them to the cage. VERY UNHAPPY but needed them for an overnight getaway so I could leave plenty of food and water for the animals.

I bought this for my large Green Wing Macaw on very short notice to feed her while out of town, literally had less than 24 hours to find something.It did not fit in-between the bars on her cage easily, but I made it work. It served it's purpose while I was out of town and I still have it up until all the food is gone in it. I had bought a special bird mix incase her large pieces of ZUPREEM did not dispense well, since the feeder tray did not fit perfectly in-between the bars of her cage, but food did dispense just fine.This product is made out of hard plastic and my large Green Wing Macaw can easily break this material with her beak, but has not as of yet, but I do fully expect that to happen sometime down the road.The other bad thing is the "NUT" to attach this to her cage is located inside of the cage where my macaw can get at it. So I also expect to find this feeder on the floor of her cage at some point since she will most definitely unscrew the "NUT" holding the feeder in place.Over all I give this set up a 90% rating, knowing in advance the downfalls with the hard plastic and the "NUT" in advance of ordering this set.... These are not recommended for large macaw's anyway, but I needed something in a minute's notice of leaving town.

Only dislike is that we had to cut a few bars off our ferret cage for them to fit on, but afterwards they fit just fine. So I'm not going to take any stars from my review from that. We were able to get the feeders set up in no time. I love how the containers lock the bowls in place and there's no way my ferrets can knock them off. They'll have to dig the food and water out if they want to make a mess. The feeders are cute and I absolutely love the color as well. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with pets that have cages.

The waterer works great and fits as described in the product ad. The feeder absolutely DOES NOT. There is no way to fit it between the cage bars. I have bars like the ones in the photo for product. I had to be creative and secure it another way which defeats the purpose. But I do like that the feed has to be filled less frequently.

It didn't fit the rabbit cage I have

Bought these for our Giant Flemish Rabbit. His old food dish was a pellet and hay combo which didnt hold a lot of hay or pellets. And his old water bottle was the usual small animal cage bottle with the ball at the end -however it would leak from time to time. Then I came across this set and couldn't be happier! The food dish holds up to 3x as much food as his last dish, which is needed as he's a growing boy still and will eventually get to be the size of a medium dog - he's already bigger than my Shih Tzu. And I like that its a slow feed. And with the bowl at the end of his water dish there is no more leaking! With in 30 seconds of installing this set our boy was sitting happily munching away and drinking.

No mess, no fuss. Easy to refill and keep clean! Highly recommended.

The cage clip doesn't make sense. The trough fits through the bars but the clip should be aligned to the side rather then the centre. Alternatively the clip should be horizontal instead of vertical to lock onto the horizontal bar. Also need to squeeze the bottle for the trough to refill.
