OSOYOO 3.5 inch LCD HDMI Mini Touch Screen RPi GPIO Device HDMI Converter for Raspberry Pi

I got this because I was having difficulty getting a small screen to work on the Raspberry Pi with a certain pre-built operating system image. If you don't need the touchscreen this screen needs no drivers, so you are guaranteed it will work, and it does.Good clear image, nice and bright.Only downside is that it stays illuminated when the Pi is shut down, but there's a tiny side slide switch if that is a problem, and of course if you power off the Pi completely it will switch off the screen. Not a big issue in most cases, but worth knowing.I am about to buy a second for another project, highly recommended.

Fits nicely on top of the Raspberry Pi even Pi4 with all connectors supplied. Plenty of help on youtube to get going if you need to. 480*320 don't bother but 820*540 you can browse and youtube displays a video that fits nicely. Use it as a music box. Run raspberry pi setup to remove black screen boarder. Touch works well and image is crisp but for indoor use only as back light is not bright. The screen gets quite warm plus the heat from the Raspberry Pi after a while if switched off I had to wait for things to cool down before the screen would work again even though the Pi was ok. Paying a bit more for the 5 icnh screen may be a better move.

Bought it for a specific project that needed a small screen, but also needed to be hdmi. Not many of these around. A bit pricey but it is very good, very clear, quick display and hdmi and touch-screen as well.

seguí el manual para la pantalla táctil y no me funcionó tuve que editar el archivo de configuración tomando una copia del que tenía ya, aunque como lo que quería era una pantalla para poder conectar y no tener que estando desenchufando el monitor del ordenador, para mi, mas que satisfecho

Innanzitutto ottimo il fatto (e cosa non da poco) che il display utilizzi solo i pin GPIO che gli servono come in foto anche se il flat dell connettore LCD non perfettamente allineato fa un po' storcere il naso così come i connettori HDMI sporchi, attenzione pero al profilo in alluminio della cornice dell LCD che potrebbe arrivarvi leggermente piegata ma potete tranquillamente ripiegarla con delicatezza senza troppi problemi, confermo che non è proprio luminosissimo e gli angoli di visuale non sono il massimo

Fonctionne très bien sur un raspberry Zero pour en faire un nano ordinateur avec écran intégré dans un tout petit boitier(j'ai réussi à caser cette écran + un Pi ZeroW dans un boîtier transparent à la base destiné pour un Pi3 => le resultat est nickel !!!)La conversion du son de la prise HDMI vers une prise son analogique est vraiment hyper pratique pour avoir une sortie son sur un casque allors que le son provient de la prise HDMI=> rien que pour ça, il vaut déjà la coup d'être acheté :)

Ich bewerte mit 5 Punkten, weil dies ein Display ist, was alle anderen kleinen Raspi Mini Touchscreens schlägt.Die Auflösungen sind sehr praxisgerecht - bei hohen Auflösungen wird es zwar sehr klein, das der Alterweitsichtige Mensch seine Lesebrille benötigt, aber immer noch erkennbar.Der HDMI Audioausgang ist genial, Macht den Kauf einer zusätzlichen DAC überflüssig, der Ton ist gut und hörbar, im Gegensatz zum internen Audio des Raspi.Ich habe einfach ein Image des Herstellers auf meine MicroSD geschrieben. Das Image ist nicht ganz aktuell, aber funktioniert.Es gibt hier und da noch Kalibrierungsbedarf, das Touchscreen ist momentan noch nicht Punktgenau und manche Anwendeungen werden am rechten Rand ein wenig abgeschnitten. Das werde ich später machen und noch mal berichten.Das Display begeistert mich, auch bei dem Preis ist dies eine tolle Lösung, die gut funktioniert.

Das Display ist von der Anzeige und der Touch-Funktion her wirklich gut. Leider wird es sehr warm. Wenn man den Raspberry und das Display mit beigelegtem Adapter verbindet ist natürlich nicht viel Platz zwischen den beiden Platinen. Wenn man das ganze dann auch noch in ein Gehäuse einbaut meldet der Pi schon bei geringster Belastung Überhitzung. In meinem Projekt werde ich da wohl noch mal mit einem kleinen Lüfter versuchen Abhilfe zu schaffen.
