This case is awesome for keeping my 15.6” gaming laptop safe! It’s super sturdy and feels like it could survive a drop. The foam inside is great for fitting my laptop, charger, and mouse perfectly. I love that it’s waterproof—perfect for travel or rainy days. The handle makes it easy to carry. Great for protecting pricey gear!

Looks good, very solid. My 18" laptop fits in it, not much room left over.

Amazing purchase

I got this to protect my laptop on my road trips. It's pretty awesome knowing that my laptop won't get scuffed, scratched, dinged, or damaged in any way (SSD drive btw) while going up and down mountains.The only downside, is that there is no room for the laptop charger. I have a slim brick, and it would only fit if I cut out some foam specifically for the power brick and cabling.Then there is the foam. This comes with a few foam inserts, which is great!! But you need to sandwich you laptop between a couple of those layers for optimal protection. But while doing that, you really have to try and close the case.Even with the drawbacks, I love this case because it excells at the one thing I need it to do: protect my laptop

The shell is made up of very thick plastic. The handle is sturdy and not at all flimsy. The 4 clamps are heavy duty and the seal is very tight. The hinges are very wide and are reinforced well. It comes with quite a few sheets of foam so you can provide ample protection to whatever you are putting inside of it.The case plus I standard laptop can make this a heavier carry but you're not buying this for transportability, you're buying it for protection.One last thing worth noting is that the case's hinges are only designed to open 90 degrees. The benefits of this is that it is convenient to open and close, the down side is that the hinges are most vulnerable to damage in the open position. You wouldn't have this if the case could happen to 180 degrees with both halves flush on a surface.

This case is a little larger than expected and easily fits 17.3 inch screen laptop and would probably fit at 18 in easily as well. Came with plenty of foam inserts to cushion the laptop and additional accessories you may want to put in with it. I am especially impressed with the quality of the materials it is built out of and the quality of the snaps that lock it shut. It is far better than the smaller version made by the same company and is equal to much more expensive pelican brand cases.
