Inebrya Ice Cream No-Yellow Shampoo for Blonde or Grey Hair

This was recommended to me by a YouTube vlogger, and I have to say I haven't been disappointed - it's great shampoo.The effects you get from it will largely depend on 3 main things...1. How long you leave the shampoo on for2. How dry or porous your hair is.3. How often you use it.Personally, I have shoulder length light blond hair which has a tendency to brassiness.I apply the shampoo twice a week, and once lathered, I leave it on for about 3 minutes before rinsing & conditioning.The effect this has is to simply remove any yellow tones, and it leaves my hair beautifully soft and white.I find leaving it for 3 minutes doesn't give me any lilac tones - it just takes out the brassiness.However - if you are looking for more of a silver or lilac finish, just leave it on for longer. (I've even read of a few folks applying the shampoo neat to dry hair, for a really dramatic finish!)If you've never used blue shampoo before, I'd recommend starting with a quick wash-in wash-out to begin with, then gradually upping the time you leave it on for, until you achieve the desired results.The colour left in your hair by this shampoo isn't permanent, so you'll need to use it at least every 3/4 shampoos to maintain the effect.The flip side of this, is that if you DO end up with slightly lavender hair unintentionally, it won't be the end of the world - just use your regular shampoo a few times!Any down points?There are a couple of things I'd point out.* Firstly, I'm not a huge fan of the smell - BUT - it's happily not something that lingers in the hair, and once you've conditioned and dried your hair, it's gone.* Secondly - you must bear in mind that this shampoo is VERY pigmented and will stain some surfaces or clothes. When you tip it onto your hand, it looks like indigo ink - so I always find it best to apply it in the shower cubicle, and watch where it splashes!Recommended!

Washed an left it on for 5 minutes. Can definitely see the difference.Nice toning effect for a shampoo and I my hair feels thicker.definitely worth the money.
