Playmobil 4162 Advent Calendar Dinosaur Expedition, Fun Imaginative Role-Play, PlaySets Suitable for Children Ages 4+

We opted for a Playmobil Calendar this year rathar than a Lego one just for a change. My boys are 9 and 11 years and still enjoy any building and imaginary games. This product arrived within the time expected. There is a separate background scene unlike the Lego version which the boys thought was good. The toys from the windows have been great so far and of the usual Playmobil good quality. Today was a motorbike (I was surprised that it was the usual size Playmobil toy, which was great!). So looking good for the next 20 days! Everyone is happy all round. Definitely buy a Playmobil calendar next year.

My daughter loved from the minute she spotted it. The excitement & anticipation has been wonderful for all involved. So pleased to break away from the chocolate filled advent calendars.All the tiny accessories for the Dino Hunters are cleverly chosen & build up to a lovely scene with hours of playing. Some accessories are big, a dino, a dino skeleton & a bike. You get a cardboard scene to build, with a tent & waterfall & rocks to display your finds on. The sleeve shows you what you will get each day, so remove it if you want each day to be a surprise.Knowing what's next has not been a problem, in fact it has made our daughters anticipation even better as she thinks about it & starts to imagine it & longs for the items & then gets up at the crack of dawn to open it up.Has even volunteered to go to bed early, just so she can wake up & open her calendar.

Any child would/should be grateful to receive a playmobil advent calendar which builds into a useable scene with figures and other items/ animals.Some days my son was little disappointed as one day he might get a dinosaur, the next a tiny walkie talkie.Its clear that this calendar is not very festive but it great for dinosaur mad children.We bought the christmas post office version last year and i much preferred that one, as did my son.

Great idea but too many small bits. Will suit 3-5 year-old children but not older ones. It would be better to have more dinosaurs and less small lizards and animals.

So far I was never disappointed with Playmobil products, but unfortunately I am right now. On Dec 9, my little boy had already 2 empty windows (number 9 and 6), what a disappointment for him! Not sure what to do in order to get the missing parts. Have you experienced the same thing (as it must be a production problem...)? and what have you done?

Didnt know what to get 3 year old grandson for xmas seen this on amazon and thought what a good idea he likes dinasours and he has a toy to play with for thee rest of the year, cant wait to see his face when he starts openinig the doors, maybe I will be more excited than him. I think its good value for money even though it is an expensive advent calendar.

This was the first year I hadn't bought the usual chocolate filled advent calendars. Got this and the Playmobile 'Princess' advent calendar for my grandchildren. Both were big hits, they could wait to open them and are still playing with the toys and cardboard scenes now. Thought they were better value than the LEGO ones' I had thought of getting..

This product is very good. As with all Playmobil products there are some very small and fiddley bits but if you are fine with that then it really is very good. Some of the days were not quite as good as others but it all fits together for a great toy in the end.There is a key on the back for parents so they know which day has what toy in it. This was useful for us as we were using it as a surprise incentive toy for potty training. We didn't need 24 days so we put together some of the very small and less exciting days!My 3.5 year old son loved it
