Sky Viper e1750 Stunt Drone Builder with Flight Assist & 2X Improved Flight Range - 2017 Edition

I bought this drone as a beginner drone and it comes with everything you need to learn to fly really fast. I got my order within two days which was awesome. The only thing u need are three AAA batteries for the remore(transmitter). The drone takes about 30 minutes to build and is actually a fun and ez to build. The is a builder app u can easily download to help you with your build. After the drone is built the fun begins. Start with a big open space if u fly indoors. If you fly outdoors try to not fly on windy days. This drone is SUPER light and can easily get carried away. This drone is also very fun and fast. I would recommend buying 850mah batteries 3.7v for more fun.

1st off disappointed that the one I received was obvious one that somebody sent back because the parts were in ziploc bags and not Labeled And one of the motors was melted! But call me crazy and since I am an Skilled enthusiast I bought 2 more Because I was intrigued by what I saw With the 1st one even Though It became nothing but spare parts! Assembly of the next shipment was better obviously factory packaged with everything well labeled And packaged. If you're up to the challenge assembly does Require some finance and patience....40 years experience of everything remote control is helpfu. I would say this is not for a beginner... It takes a delicate touch And preferably a nice set of hobby screwdrivers, the one that The kit comes with will work but not recommended. Be careful Routing the wire! So if you like to tinker and you know things... 2nd one took me about 45 minutes the 3rd 1I had down to a 1/2 hour and I'm sure I could beat that! After that mouthful I must say Aside from a tiny wobble here and there it is a incredible flyer very responsive And the stunt button is awesome Plus a strong 10 minutes flight time This is a tremendous amount of fun for the price. But detailed assembly knowledge would be helpful

This drone went beyond my expectations for a $17.99 drone. Building it took about 1.5 hours and that includes putting the controller together. The longest and hardest part was tucking in the wires from the motors to close the drone up. It flys wonderfully and is very zippy. I love the one key flips. It works so well that I decided to purchase another one just so I have a full set of replacment parts when I break this one. I fly it like a bat out of Hades. Have already crashed it a number of times since putting it together yesterday, not because it's hard to fly, just doing opsticle course flying. I will say that this drone is very durable. My only advice is to purchase 2 of these along with some spare batteries and enjoy.

This drone was very well received by my child. He loved building it and flying it. Unfortunately, it stopped working in less than a week. I have left a message for the company twice now (their phone goes straight to a message) and 5 days after my first message I left I still have not been contacted. We are well within the warranty time period for this product but a warranty does no good when you cannot reach the company to use the warranty.Fun toy but not durable and the company has to this point NO customer service whatsoever making the warranty nonexistent.

I've got four other drones: A Syma X5HW, an Eachine e010, and a Boldclash BWHOOP B-03, and another Sky Viper drone, and the Sky Vipers fly hands-down *much* better than the others; you actually feel like this one is an extension of your gestures--the control is very tight, reacting instantly to your input. They're simply much smoother fliers than the other drones I've run, and this one was the first one that really made me feel pleasure while piloting--you definitely struggle to control the others in comparison. I'm using 850 mah batteries and getting excellent, nearly 12-minute flight times. The e1700 is not perfect--it was more tedious than expected to assemble (the motor and LED wiring in particular are a bit tough to route, and the leg unders are also somewhat difficult to get into place. Also, the LED lights are flush mounted within the motor legs, which makes it hard to see them when the drone is approaching you, making dusk flying challenging. Finally, the remote occasionally locks up after a flight, necessitating battery removal to reset it--a physical power-off switch or having the soft power switch do a laptop-style hard power-off after a few seconds of hold-down would be really helpful--especially since the battery cover is only held in place with a screw, and therefore has to be left off during operation to enable access to the batteries to kill controller power as needed. But the e1700 flies and controls so well, with rock-stable hovers, that these drawbacks are easily forgiven--especially in light of the low cost of this model. My favorite drone of all of them--the others are now mostly gathering dust! Highly recommended--if you're handy enough assemble it yourself. I'm buying more of them for friends and family!

It's a nice drone kit that's novice-user and novice-builder-friendly. You don't need to be super technically detail-oriented. There is an app you can download for animated guidance on how to build your drone if you're more of a visual learner. You can adjust the sensitivity of the flight to your skill level, so flying it isn't chaotic or jerky at all. This is an excellent buy if you're looking to assemble a drone easily and readily. Drone-building is an expensive hobby and this kit has quality parts for the pricing. Definitely getting the bang for your buck.

Building this was quick and easy. But it will not fly!!! It does not have enough power to lift off the ground. I bought this to see how it would work hoping to upgrade to a better one later. But so much for the Sky Viper brand. If this on will not even take off, I'm not going to try another from Sky Viper.
