It does come with the stated hex key
A lot of people saying the saw does not come with the hex key.....it does! the key just comes attached to the saw at the base, right above where you attach the battery, it's small and black. I would give this saw 3.5 stars for it's cutting and battery life, this saw is quite small, don't get me wrong it does the job, if you need a bit more juice for cutting larger/ thick timber I would suggest getting the 18v powered saw. Still all in all it will do the job on site for cutting aukward hard to reach bits of timber and pipe

No hex key supplied
This item states there is a hex key included with it. there is not, it is missing. You cannot insert/change the blade or adjust the shoe without one. So in other words, the Makita JR105D reciprocating saw is unusable.

You need an allen key to fit blade which is not supplied
Would have been better if all you needed to use was supplied with item
