How does the fingerprint sensor work with a screen protector or tempered glaas on? As I understand the scaner is on the screen itself?

There is no problem, actually phone comes with a screen protector I changed it to tempered glass and works perfectly.

Does it currently support google play and related apps with google?

Absolutely! I got mine last week and supports all google apps as well as updates. Go for it with confidence as it is a great device!

Does it work in peru???

sorry , I don't live in Peru. I bought the phone but sended back because of the goberment ban. Is a shame.
