I was really dreading the installation process but it was a piece of cake. The included plastic spudger tool was very helpful in routing the cables under the interior trim and rubber seals. My vehicle is one of the shorter SUVs on the market so I had about 6 feet of extra cable left over that I simply double routed under the interior trim. Video quality is excellent and the software was easy to set up as well as to use. The only hiccup I ran into was the rear camera wasn't detected at first. I plugged/unplugged it a couple times without success before I realized that it took quite a bit more force to seat the barrel jack into its socket. Once it was seated properly everything worked just great. Connecting your phone to the camera via WiFi is quick and easy and you have control of all the camera's features from the app. This camera also supports picture-in-a-picture (PIP) mode so that you can have the front and rear cameras recording at the same time. It also allows you to pick which camera will have the larger view in PIP mode. Voice control and voice prompts work very well. All the usual info gets overlaid on the recording such as the date/time stamp and GPS coordinates. You also have the option of selecting several recording resolutions but I left mine set to 4K. A nice touch was the inclusion of extra mounts in the box in case you want to move the cameras between two cars.I was initially tempted to purchase the Garmin Mini 2 until I found out that it doesn't come with a rear camera nor oddly a GPS, something which Garmin should have included since GPS receivers are their main products. The Garmin also requires a subscription and only does 1080p video. For the Garmin, you have to purchase the rearview camera separately AND purchase an SD card which increases the price significantly as well. The AZDOME unit shipped with a 64GB SD card pre-installed.This dashcam is the biggest bang for your buck that you'll find. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and recommend this unit to anyone who wants/needs front and rear view monitoring.

The M300S dashcam is small n very compact but is a powerhouse and performs flawlessly. I loved it's 4k HD video quality and its smooth recording capabities. Dashcam comes complete with power cables, rear camera and mounting accessories and is very easy to install in any vehicle.I purchased it for it's ability to document vehicle driving movement history and to also protect my vehicle overnight if someone hits or shakes the vehicle while parked.Nothing not to like with this cam since this product out performs a majority of others in its class in both price and quality and even other higher priced models.Mr. Sun from Azdome responded right away to several questions I had about programming and helped me resolve all my customer support inquiries.I want to congratulate Azdome for putting out the M300S 4K Ultra HD, definitely a WINNER👍Steve Hndz

First off, this is my second purchase of this product. And it was even less expensive than the first one I purchased. Go figure.Of course, installation was easier than when I installed my first one into my PU truck. Even though this second installation was in my wife's Nissan Rogue, the experience of installing one in my pickup made a big difference. But to be clear, installation in both vehicles was easy to be sure, far easier than I initially expected.Use of the product is even easier than its installation. Get into the vehicle, turn on power, and bingo, it's recording front and back without any other initiation by me (or my wife.)Viewing live or previously recorded video using my phone via a direct wifi connection it easier still. Downloading a video to my phone takes some time. It's certainly not instantaneous. Viewing a video on a big screen doea require removing the micro SD card to a laptop to transfer the file. No biggie I guess, since the idea here is to have recorded evidence of a driving mishap, not to review uneventful travel data. Just saying.I have viewed some of my first recordings, and all is of good quality. Tag numbers can be easily identified IF you are close enough. Trying to do so father than the naked eye can easily make out is an effort in futility. These cameras aren't telescopic. They are simply Webcams. Pretty good Webcams, but Webcams notheless.I am happy with both my purchases, and I feel my money was well spent. They seem to be doing the task the were purchsed for and doing it remarkably well. Theses cameras aren't CIA spook technology, they are just some pretty good webcams. Enuff said?
