Works great on 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty truck
The web page says this air deflector will not fit my 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty truck, but, in fact, it fits perfectly, with one minor modification to the truck hood. The rear of this aftermarket deflector has a vertical ridge with a lip that is designed to fit against the underside of the hood and prevent air from flowing over the engine rather than through the radiator. The OEM deflector does not have this. Instead, the OEM design has a rubber seal on the bottom of the hood that presses down against the OEM deflector to provide the seal. This seal is not needed with the Dorman deflector, and the truck hood will not close if the OEM seal is left in place. The OEM seal is very easy to remove by removing the push pins that hold it in place and then replacing the push pins. Then the truck hood will close properly. The Dorman deflector comes with the push pins needed to install it. Very happy with this purchase.

Fit great on a 2001 ford excursion 7.3. Just had to trim a v where the hood latch came down.

Rv tow seems to run cooler
I Googled would this make my engine run cooler one site said yes other said no I have always checked temp on my scan garage engine oil and coolant towing my rv appears to to be running about 5 degrees cooler than before old deflector fins that go up into hood were broke off guess not deflecting air properly to cool engine .

This Dorman 620-186 Radiator Support Air Deflector fit my 2000 F250 powerstroke like a glove! No timing or cutting like some of the reviews I seen. Looks good and was a breeze to install. Came with the pop inserts also witch was nice!

Perfect Fit
Although none say this fits a 2005 Ford Excursion, this was an Exact Fit, and Identical to the one my Excursion had... Super Happy, and no trimming needed. It also had new push clips in it already, so a nice unexpected plus... Highly recommended, and had Super Fast Shipping to boot.
