I am a left-hander, is this ink quick drying? Am I likely to smudge it?

Most fountain pens will have a smudge issue for Lefties, I have a few friends that said no worse than normalHope it helps

How long would you say the cartridge may last? Thinking of using them in my essay exams?

How long an ink cartridge will last is really personal, and depends heavily on the nib size, your handwriting style, the ink flow of your particular pen, and even the ink itself. The best thing to do is write with your pen before exam to get a sense of your personal ink useage. Some inks may last to 6-10 pages, others might last upto 20 pages. Regularly check an ink window on Lamy pen to make sure you have enough ink but make sure you get a spare ink cartidge in case if you run out of ink and good luck with exams.

Can it be used in a Parker Fountain pen?

A Lamy t10 cartridge is 67mms in length and the internal diameter of the cartridge where it push fits onto a pen is 3mms. I have a Lamy safari pen so I'm not certain it would fit a Parker which is why I have given the critical dimensions. In my opinion , both the ink quality and quantity( blue and black ) are excellent.

Is the ink permanent ? I want to use it with watercolor and I need not to dissolve.

It washes off your hands and mixes with the water and ink erasers clear it too.

Great volume, good writing experience

The price is great, especially compared to high street prices.Lamy has massive cartridges which is great for people who do lots of writing. Also, the cartridges are very sturdy, which means they hold up *not protected. I have a few dotted around places, like my purse, bag etc and have never had them explode on me.The black ink isn't the deepest black you can find, but certainly good for a start. I also enjoy how all of the ink is used up at the end, rather than having ink stuck to the sides. It isn't the easiest to wash off hands, takes a few good washes but it doesn't bother me. Have never really gotten it on fabric, so I wouldn't know!With an EF nib, the ink does not feather too badly, not even on cheap notebook paper. It does however, take a while to dry and can smudge, something to think about for the lefties out there!

Good black

It's a good black and relatively good value, but the ink can fade, and not waterproof, so I don't think I'll be buying any more. Nothing against the quality of the ink to be fair, it's just not what I want (water resistant, at the very least).
