Q: These are for my daughter in law and she wears a shoe size 4; will these fit?

Q: How can there be only 6 pairs when there are 7 days of the week. The photo shows 7 pairs. How many pairs are there, 6 or 7 ?

I don't know. I didn't count them. I ordered so many pairs and also went into Target and bought more. I just cut the little plastic tab and washed them. I can say they are well made, good fitting socks, and hold up to washing. I would buy them again whether it was 6 or 7. Buy 2 packs have some extra.

Q: I don't like being barefoot around the house. Are these good, comfortable durable to be worn daily I stead of slippers?

No, they are fairly thin so won't be durable enough to wear daily instead of slippers and if you live some place cold, they won't be warm. I do like to wear them around my house here in Florida and figure if I wear them out, I'll just buy some more since they are well priced, super comfortable, and cute.
