An instant favourite
This was my one-year-old nephew's original favourite among the books he got for his first birthday. He soon learned how and when to lift the flaps. He loved the illustrations from the start, including the babies' faces. I mention this as some faces in other books freaked him out at first, though he's gotten over that now! This book is a lovely way for baby to learn to identify parts of the body. It's colourful and sweet. The flaps have gotten bent out of shape a bit, but that just goes to show how much he loves to read the book with me. ***RECOMMENDED***

Toddler’s absolute favourite
This book is great! My toddler enjoys it every time we read this together. I have been reading this to her ever since she was a baby. She’s almost 2 now but gets really excited when she sees this book. She has also learned about her body parts using this cute little book so if you wan’t to make your child learn something at a very early age, I would definitely recommend

Lift the flap board book.
Its a nice hard back book and my 16 month old Grand Daughter loves it. She loves lifting the flap to find the babies eyes, mouth, feet etc. The reason I haven't given it a 5 star is I think the body parts should be bigger and more noticeable. The babies mouth is so small in comparison to the eyes and nose that when I ask my Grand Daughter to find the babies mouth she points to her own as the mouth in the picture is so weirdly shaped and so small.

Lovely book! Wide range of babies featured, of which the front picture is one example :)
When we first got this book, my little boy who was probably under 1 year at the time liked it but he was a bit young so the flaps did get a bit bent out of shape (and he is did like to rip things, but they're still intact!). I'd say 'Where's it the X, here it is!' And he liked the Peekaboo element. The flaps are proper card, but not completely rigid, and some not the eaisest for little fingers to lift. He's now nearly 2.5 years old and he still likes this book! Now he can turn the pages himself, does the flaps himself and the theme is not too simple yet. Now I can read it properly, so he is understanding the words 'under', 'behind' etc. So, it gets full marks from me for longevity!! I also really like the drawings and style of drawing. ...Oh, and the title here alludes to a couple of joke 1 star ratings here, which are a bit silly! The story doesn't even revolve around the baby's belly button, but it's a lovely example as any mentions of belly buttons always makes my LO laugh!

Beautiful book
Lovely book. Great for learning body parts. Unfortunately cant let grandson hold it as he likes to rip the lift up parts.

A very nice bpok but flaps a bit flimsy
This had such potential for 5 stars. The only reason it isn't is because the flaps could have been thicker card. Our book has creased and ripped already. My little boy isnot overly rough with it because he is still quite young. I don't this will last long once he is older and stronger.
