15 month old LOVES it
I got this for my son, and he absolutely loves it. 4 star rating just due to the smells honestly, when it arrived. I had to air the foam out for a few days to get rid of the musky weird smell. Overall though, it is a great product. It's very soft, easy to move, and easy to clean. I just throw the covers in the wash and tumble dry on low heat.

A great size!
I bought this for my daughter, she’s almost 5.5 months and it’s a great size! It’s actually thicker and sturdier than i thought it would be. She is able to sit up on her own in it. We have 350 balls in the pit. Do yourself a favor and order the balls on Temu like I did! I paid $3-$10 per bag of 50 balls.

Keeps baby contained!
Lovvvvvvveeeeee!!!! We use this for so many different things: keeping baby contained for a minute while we cook or clean. My 6 year old has used it for a “hideout” and put a blanket over it. We piled pillows in it and jumped in it. When the baby got a bit older and could climb outward still use it for toys because instead of them being scattered all over they basically all stayed in the pit. Then, obviously filled with balls!Quality is very nice, it’s a buttery soft material. It didn’t take long (if any time really) for it to get into its shape, it basically just popped open and we used it right away. Couple of drool spots in my photo from a teething baby, but dries quickly and doesn’t leave any stains. Easy to clean off and if something did happen it’s machine washable! To fill the whole pit you’d probably need 250-300 balls, but halfway makes less of a mess.

Good size and very soft
This is a good sized ball pit for an infant or young toddler. My 9 month old has been enjoying it so far. We had a few balls, but need to buy more… it will hold a lot! The foam is very soft, which can be good and bad. It’s great if my baby falls against it, but it is so soft that he can compress it and crawl over the side. So if your child is crawling, don’t think that you can use this like a playpen… they will get out.The material covering the foam is a stretchy polyester. It is soft, but does show drool and spit up marks clearly. But I love that the fabric can be unzipped and thrown in the wash.It would be great if there were an easy way to compress the pit for storage. That being said, we like that the gray is minimal enough that we can just leave it out in the living room as a place to throw toys we aren’t using. As some other reviewers have mentioned, you should definitely let the foam air out for a day or two. I left it in the guest room for 48 hours before letting my little one get in, and that seemed to do the trick… gave it time to air out and reshape after being compacted for shipping.Think it is a bit pricey for what it is, but lots of fun!
