Did the job!
There are a lot of plungers available on Amazon and I spent ages reading through reviews etc to try and find a good one for the job - plus one that was good value for money. This product is expensive (in my opinion) but it did the job of unblocking our toilet on first attempt. It’s different to a traditional round plunger as it’s a lot firmer and more solid, which also means you do need the right toilet shape or I’d imagine it won’t work at all.Key thing is it worked first time and is cheaper than a plumber!

It's oversize yet does its job
My toilet bowl had low water level after flush and after doing some research I determined that there was something partially blocking the drainpipe somewhere. I tried pouring two bottles of liquid unblocker but they did not work and then I bought this thing. The plunger was too big to lower inside the narrow part of the bowl and cannot touch the water surface, but I pushed down and up to apply some pressure anyway. Although I didn't feel anything was done, unbelievably after flushing the toilet again, the water level became normal.Regarding easiness to clean, as the plunger bottom is flat and can be quite gross if it is placed on the floor after use. I suggest the seller should provide a container like that for a toilet brush.

This really does work
Wow, what a bit of kit this is. I had quite a stubborn blocked toilet, looked at many different plungers etc, finally decided on the thruster....and I'm so glad I did, it cleared the blockage I'd say in under 10 seconds with absolute minimal effort and without any splashback that normally comes with these type of jobs. If your toilet is the correct shape, look no further than the thruster.........amazing bit of kit that really does work :-)

Useless - broke within 5 minutes
Looks ok, but after a few firm plunges the polystyrene ‘block’ split from the plastic handle. It’s made from same stuff as a swim float, so I’m not surprised. Wouldn’t recommend.

That turd didn't know what hit it
I was doubtful when buying this, we have a long soil pipe on the back of our 'day after dinner collector' with a tight bend before it leaves the sanctitude of our four walls. It does block at a regular frequency, normally on a Sunday afternoon. I have become adept at unblocking it. Typically using a variety of official and home made implements which include an attachment for a jetwash. Despite my best efforts, this enormous log beat me into submission. It had beaten mechanical and chemical warfare and was still wedged in the corner taunting me. Lesser plungers were not up to the job and the usual water pump style ones genuinely broke under the pressure. I had lost hope of ever having my Sunday morning 'me' time back when, whilst sitting on a lesser throne, I came across this. I threw caution to the wind and ordered it. It arrived the day after and I immediately entered my haven of peace, my temple of tranquility, the only place in the house I don't need to put up with the kids and wedged it straight in the bottom of the rumplestiltskin wrangler. Two shakes later a satisfying thud was heard on the bottom floor of the house and 'old stinky' was on his way to pastures new. I have now mounted it to the bathroom wall (the plunger not the turd) as an accolade to itself and to allow quick access should the occasion arise again.Highly recommended.

Doesn't fit all toilets
Probably OK if small blockage, this product doesn't move a lot of water, which is the main aid to unblock our toilet.

Succeeded where others failed
Having tried with a traditional plunger over several days I was beginning to get desperate. The thruster was easy to use. You need to use short rapid trusts for about 10-15 seconds. I think my blockage was quite deep. First and second attempts didn’t work but I think I was drawing the blockage closer. On the third attempt the level of water in the bowl after using was noticeably higher. I went to bail some of the water using a cup & gloves. As soon as I touched the water the pressure released and the blockage cleared.I am really happy as I thought I would need to call a plumber.
