Island Mist Raspberry Dragonfruit Shiraz Wine Kit by Winexpert

My mom and I make wine every year; she is a sweet fan and I'm more of a dry Pinot Gris/Riesling fan. I knew this wine would probably be on the sweeter side, but neither of us can drink it without mixing it with something else to take the sweetness away. I'd compare it to drinking straight fruit syrup.

We had a friend turn us on to a bottle of this wine,and decided to try making it ourselves. Turned out great.Since then we've also made Cranberry/ Zinfandel and Apple wine,but friends and family all prefer,and request Raspberry Dragonfruit. We've ordered 2 more of these kit's and are storing several bottles for prepping. Should be great for barter.Lot of people will be needing alcohol.

I purchased this based on the other reviews and I would agree that it is a very nice flavor. We haven't been patient enough to let it age for three months to let the flavor become even better but right out of the carboy is excellent! Would buy again!

Second time ordering this kit. The dragonfruit really stands out in flavor and smell. Will be ordering this a lot. Your friends and family will love this wine.

This kit made a great wine. Raspberry flavor with a little bit of tart. Very good chilled.
