Stimulate your brain every day!
Crossword puzzles are proven to improve brain function, memory, and knowledge. It's like a Jeopardy round on paper with subjects like: geography, literature, history, science, sports, movies, tv, food, politics, pop culture, etc. There's also the satisfaction of finishing one (answers are in the back just in case!) Each book has 300 puzzles, keeping you busy every day for nearly a year. I've ordered 22 of them over the years. True story. Please give this review a "heart" if it helped!

Great variety of puzzles
Love the fact that some I can complete easily and others I have to work at.

The BEST Crossword Book I Have Ever Purchased
For those of us tired of overly easy puzzles found in store racks, this book offers some moderately challenging to progressively more difficult puzzles. I liked the larger sizes of the puzzles as well as not having to deal with the spine (each page is perforated, allowing easy removal). This being my first Simon & Schuster crossword puzzle book, I am happy to know there are 16 previous books, which should keep me busy for years! This book has 300 puzzles and is a bargain. Five stars.

My favorite crosswords publisher
I like really hard crossword puzzles. The Mega series has easier to very hard puzzles in it, to suit your fancy. The pages are perforated, which makes them really easy to use. I've purchased this series for many years now and am very happy with it.

Oxycontin for wordsmiths - beware!!
almost all of the puzzles are 'fair' for us who are NOT experts in extreme, random, trivia of esoteric specialties ..... yes, you'll have a fighting chance to complete most of each puzzle if your knowledge base is 'average.' In fact, the puzzles are often witty and clever and therefore, enjoyable and addicting. After I complete this one, I'll certainly purchase another in this S&S Mega collection.

Great puzzles
I usually do the LA Times puzzles and can generally get through them without looking up answers. I tried the NY Times and found them entirely too difficult and frustrating for me. The puzzles in this book are much closer in level to the LA Times. They are not too easy but with time and noodling I can almost always finish it without any checking. Good themes, fun facts and just the right challenge level for me. Love the perforated tear-out feature as well.

Puzzle heaven
They do get harder as you go along, but I do love working on them.
