This product is a fantastic piece of kit, and I feel compelled to address the negative reviews it’s been receiving.Let’s start with the obvious: it costs less than £50 and lets you see in the dark. Read that again. Sure, it’s not cutting-edge military-grade tech, but for the price of a takeaway dinner, you get night vision. That’s pretty impressive.Now, about those negative reviews. I’ve noticed three recurring complaints:1. "It broke." Fair enough—things happen. Get a refund or replacement. Problem solved.2. "It didn’t work." This is usually either a defective unit (see point one) or, more likely, operator error. Pro tip: read the instructions.3. "It feels cheap." Well, yes, it’s made of lightweight plastic, and no, it’s not ruggedized for war zones. But again, it’s less than £50. You can’t expect titanium and Kevlar at this price point. If you need something indestructible, there are pricier options out there.Let’s talk materials. The plastic case and buttons do feel budget-friendly, but they’re perfectly functional if you treat the device with care. If you’re prone to dropping things from a height onto concrete, you’ve got two options: either don’t drop it or buy a more durable unit.A few nitpicks: it could really use a lens cover, and the welcome message font feels like it escaped from a 1990s PowerPoint. Very good value for money and it works just fine. Only it says in the information about it, that it takes 5 AA batteries, this is misleading information. It as a built in rechargeable battery. I have posted a couple of pictures showing you the charging port and SD card port/plus a picture of the battery. Had to charge it which took a few hours and tried it out. Very pleased with the picture and video quality and really good night vision with a really bright red pointing out red light for night vision. Overall i am very pleased with it, only negative thing is the rechargeable battery, from past experience they don't last long and have to be replaced, but for a night vision goggle it's worth the money...

This is a second rate night vision camera. The focus is rubbish and the material used in its construction is of very poor quality.

Having tried and been disappointed with many, many night vision binoculars, we decided to go back to basics and stick to simple functionality.This is an unpretentious small easy to use product which does exactly what it says on the box, nothing more, nothing less. But it does it very well.At less than half the price of binoculars that don’t do half the things they claim they can, this is is a refreshing mould breaker?Light, very intuitive to operate, we love this thing. And although it’s only FHD, it really is, and not the sort of 4K that other products claim, but isn't.Great value for money, and far better than you might have imagined.We would just add, don't be fooled by the helmet mounted camera image.Although this might be technically possible. This device is definitely NOT a military grade night, vision, monocular.

Rubbish, I could do better with a candle in a jam jar and a blind ferret. Totally useless in anything other than daylight.

The item worked fine

They're very good, I'm surprised at the long range with that illuminator...good for watching wildlife I guess. Its not surveillance grade...for covert applications..but its good value, performs very well. I'm pleased with it.
