iprop iPad Bed & Lap Stand Bean Bag Tablet Holder for Tablets, Phones & E-Readers [Black]

Despite having a cover on my ipad mini that acts as a prop/support, I do find that when sitting in bed or in a chair, that my ipad is either so low that the bed covers obscure the lower part of the screen or it just wont balance properly. I already have a very pretty cos-e-reader wedge-shaped ipad cushion (about 3 times the size of this one) which I use at home, but I was looking for something as good, but more compact that I could take with me when I travel or on holiday. I did a great deal of research both on Amazon and elsewhere and finally chose this cushion.The reasons are:Size - Being about the size of a cantaloupe melon or just over the size of a DVD (but ball shaped!), it's perfect for travelling, being small and squishy enough to take up little room, but big enough to hold my ipad very easily, indeed I cant imagine it would have any trouble with a full-sized ipadRemovable cover - this is very easy to do and is a drawback of my cos-e-cushion which is beginning to get grubby from bed-time hand cream routine and breakfasts in bed :) This cover is completely removable/washable. It reminds me of the old "airtex" shirts from the 80's!Removable plastic support shelf - this basically has press-studs which attach it to the cover, so couldn't be easier to remove.Carry handle - not in and of itself exactly a selling point, but is very helpful when transporting an armful of items. A useful addition.Most important was the shapeability. I have read many reviews of other cushions which might look the part, but have so few or too light a filling that it is impossible to shape properly. Although the "beans" in this cushion are neither heavy nor over full, it is very shapeable by squeezing and pushing once your ipad is on it and allows you to position it to the perfect tilt. I actually then just drape the cover of my ipad over the back of the cushion.Overall, you may gather I'm very pleased with my purchase. If I had one complaint, the colour is boring, but then you cant have everything! There is always room for improvement!

really like this prop. great for holding iPad whilst in bed, on the sofa, and also great on hard/flat surfaces.(It's replacing a worn out PadProp, which was a simple foam grip that propped up the iPad and had almost a decade of service).iPad stays in position pretty well, though it can topple forward if I move carelessly.carry handle is partly useful, but you have also to carry your device. I have added a velcro strip to back of iPad, and to the rubber pad of the stand so that I can pick both up with one hand, and so that device and stand stay connecte.. The velcro is strong, but it's not sticking easily to the stand, so I'm not confident I could carry the stand by the handle without risking my device falling. That's not really a criticism as it's not designed that way.I would love this stand to have a magnetic base, or built in velcro strip so that I could carry my iPad around with the stand attached.great stand, I'm happy with it, and perfect for moving around the house.

Have searched for an ipad 3 'pillow' for many months. Decided the iProp would do all I wanted and how right I was! It is well made and can be adjusted easily to any angle you could wish, weather the ipad is in landscape or portrait, and remains firm and steady. Perfect for surfing on the sofa and a delight not to have to hold the weighty ipad or keep knees raised to support it. Fits snugly while in the Smart Cover with the front flap folded to the back. It also works well with my Kindle Keyboard in the amazon case, although if you have a case that is much thicker then it may not fit with the front cover folded to the back of the Kindle. Small and compact compared with much of the competition and would be suitable for travel if you decided you had the room in your luggage. It would certainly find its way into my hand luggage but I do appreciate there are some people who would still consider it too large!! All in all I am delighted - just wish it was purple in colour!!!

This is an excellent bit of kit for holding your ipad steady. I have one of those tri-fold covers, like a lot of people, and it just doesn't hold my iPad steady on anything other than a completely flat surface, and I like to rest my iPad on the arm of the couch. This prop thingy holds it very steady and safe, despite being quite small. It doesn't take up loads of room, it's not intrusive around the ipad screen and you can smoosh the filling around to get the viewing angle you want. A touch over priced for what it is, although I think all of these cushion stands are, but I'm very impressed with it so I don't really mind.I'd say buy this over those massive cushion things, it's better quality and doesn't take up the entire arm of the couch!

nice but for what it is quite pricey, the zipper looks and feels like it will break after few uses

I absolutely love this beanbag, the quality is first class, the plastic lip for sitting your tablet into is the best feature of this bean bag, great size for traveling. It would be perfect for using at home and in bed if it was twice the size and a bit heavier because it is so small and light it makes it a little unsteady, especially if you are using a 10" tablet, for small items I am sure it would be perfect.I would love if the maker could keep this version as a travel stand and make a bigger and heavier version for use at home, I would definitely buy it. I have also purchased a larger bean bag (Padrelax) but without the plastic lip it is not easy to keep the tablet in place, especially when in bed in the dark.Please make a larger heavier version.
