Platz Moebius MMK707 VTTBS 4 Window Seaview Submarine Model Kit

Great model, very pleased, but if like me you're in the UK please note...... I had to pay £50 customs duty on this ! so remember to add that to the total price, as was quite a surprise paying that much duty.

This is the new tooled version the original kit had 2 slot in windows while this kit has a molded in window. My original kit had broken hand rails but this one is fine not a broken rail in sight!Will be buying a liting kit which is a mustNice new box art

Fantastic, brings back memories of the TV series. So many possibilities to modify the model for lights and sounds to bring it to life. Many helpful videos on Youtube to help with construction technichs. Even 1 video showing how to convert this brilliant model into a submersible version. Looking forward to building it. Reminds me, still got a 36 inch Firball XL5 to do.

Excellent kit, very nice size and well moulded.

Voyage to the Bottom of the sea is now a classic piece of fantasy from the early 1960's. And seems to be rarly shown on the Tv at least in the Uk which is a real shame. However this massive kit is the most detailed model I have seen with the design taken from the original 'Miniature' which was over 8 foot long !. The Kit build is easy though the instructions are poor so prior experience will help. There is a detailed control room and 'Flying sub' bay in the flared nose of the sub. If you can afford this kit at it's eye watering price then I would say snap it up !.
