USB Type-C support + 75hz = Good!
The USB Type-C port does power up my phone, Chromebook, and Samsung Galaxy Book. It doesn't charge up by giant 15" 4K HP Spectre x360, but I knew it wouldn't. All properly display 75hz @ 2560x1080.Speakers are decent, and not terrible. But, I wouldn't watch movies with it. Might as well get some better speakers.Aspect ratio is great for productivity, and I've owned the 25" version. At 95ppi, it's not super sharp, but it's right on the edge. Great for productivity tasks, and allows games to run ~75fps (and you can tell).Mostly, this is worth it for USB type C. One cable charges your device and sends video + audio. Sadly, you will have to figure out how to connect keyboard + mouse. If you use Bluetooth, it's no problem. I wish it had pass-through USB type A ports on the back, but at this price, it's a good deal.Lightweight and easily VESA mountable. As a former user of 34" 3440x1440, this is a much smaller and lower rez display, but it uses up less desk space and is more usable than the 25" version. If you are curious about 75hz and USB type-C connections, or ultrawides, get this and you'll have all 3 benefits. If you have 2x the budget, move up to a 3440x1440 display. But, know that 2560x1080 at 34" or 35" looks pretty bad. 29" is a good middle ground.I have VESA mounted 2x ultrawides, one on top of each other, and that has been great.

Best 1080p ultrawide for my budget
Awesome monitor, turned into an awesome gift and years later my brother is gaming like a pro on this monitor. The colors are pretty superior to the monitor I purchased afterwards (Scepter P30 200Hz) and it is very aesthetically pleasing. Even years later, it has no noticeable ghosting effects, and the backlight is not malfunctioning or dimming.

It's a great monitor
I was concerned about the size, considering everyone praises 34-inch 1440p ultrawides..but I don't have the money to drop 800$ on a gaming one that is also an IPS display, nor do I have the money for a 500$ GPU to get good frames. For a "budget" ultrawide, this thing looks really great and crisp, it has a native 75hz which makes things much smoother than 60hz, and overall looks great for what I expected.Display: 4.5/5+ Crispy and has the perfect pixel density for 1080p,+ Solid colors and mine looked good right out of the box. The only setting I changed was putting the response time to medium (do not put it to high as there will be massive overshoot) and sharpness up to 9- One thing I notice is that because this is "6 bit+FRC" it does not look nearly as good with the contrast and black levels in games compared to an 8bit panel. For instance, during the night in some things like shadows can look pitch black and there will be some color banding issues with some games. (EDIT: This is apparently called "BLACK CRUSH" where shadows/darker images the detail is completely lost and everything is pitch black, not sure if it's due to 6bit FRC or bad luck with the monitor).Build: 3/5Fairly average, I have mine mounted so the stand is less of an issue. For the price it's as you would have expected, it's glossy plastic and doesn't exactly feel premium, but gets the job done It's decent enough.OS: 4/5Very friendly and easy to set up the monitor and change the monitor on a whim if you have to.Speakers: 2/5 (does this matter?)No one uses their monitors' speakers...the sound quality is painfully below average and maybe if you tinker with the sound settings in the OS you could get it to sound acceptable.Gaming: 4.5/5+ The ultrawide aspect ratio is stunning and visually looks awesome in most games. Also, this aspect ratio works on almost every game, although you may have to mod or do some minor tweakingfor things like cutscenes. If you're playing competitively then maybe this isn't the monitor to get because it'sonly 75hz, but it's still enough to be good for 90% of gamers. In other words, 75hz is still good.+ Response time is excellentThe reason I dropped down 1 star is that I bought it NEW and it came with a yellow sticker showing that it was actually refurbished...so it wasn't actually "new". And there is no DisplayPort cable in the box so I can get freesync to work or test it for Nvidia GPUs. I would have dropped this down to 3 stars but the actual monitor came in great condition with no defects so far, AND I even contacted them and I got credit back because of this.I would mostly recommend this monitor to pretty much everyone, except maybe "hardcore gamers" who only play CSGO competitively every day and need that 144hz.EDIT: I did end up returning this even though I think it's a great monitor, I just personally found myself wanting a 1440p 144hz gsync monitor more, considering I was able to get one for 380$. The ultrawide aspect ratio is something I greatly miss though.

Type-C FreeSync on the cheap...
An amazing value for a $200 return because people don't understand cable bandwidths. Grab a CableMatters THunderbolt type C cable and connect your phone/pc/etc.. 75Hz Freesync with low response lag. https://smile.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Certified-Thunderbolt-Supporting/dp/B01AS8U9KE

Good deal with a few gotchas
As others had advertised, the USB-C port is really just for display. Tried connecting it to my MBP with no success. I also checked the manufacturer's website for drivers and could not find any for my laptop. I bought this HDMI => Type C and it worked beautifully. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XDMKQKJ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9My other big complaint is my screen is tilted to the right side enough to bug me. This shouldn't happen with new products, and will be calling in for a stand replacement.Outside of all of that... this monitor is gorgeous!
