These clippers are so easy to use, i did have some help from another person holding the cat. But the cat was very calm with these, and they are nice and sharp so snipped the claw straight off without any effort.GOOD TIP- test on a cotton bud to see exactly where the cut will be as you dont want to cut the quick.We've previously used Mikki "scissor style" cutters without success, they just crushed the nail and the cat was distressed by the experience. these are a whole different story. Highly recommend you try them. We used to ask the vet to do it as it was too harrowing, but not anymore.

We're just on our second Mikki Nail Clipper now - after our first lasted eleven years. In that time, it cut the claws of our first three Great Danes. GD claws are about the thickness of a woman's little finger. These clippers worked so well (without any additional sharpening) and managed fortnightly nail clippings of our first three Danes over eleven years. With our latest Dane pup, we invested in a new pair and it continues to work with both our 11.5 year old lady Dane, Mina and our 7-month old pup, Ruby.Highly recommend these clippers but do have some stiptic powder and/or elastoplast band strip & scissors while clipping, if your dog's nails are dark and you nick the quick - just in case. It's not the end of the world, even if you do nick them - a small strip of elastoplast and they are fine - they don't bleed out - trust me. :DNo need to have the groomer or vet nurse do this essential dog maintenance - it's fine to do yourself with a bit of practice.

Comfortable to hold and the blades are sharp and the size of blades are fine for medium and large dogs. The nail guard is removable, which I have removed as they are of no use, and because when the mail guard was moved it would loosen the screw keeping the blades together.

These are my favourite clippers now. I had tried 2 other makes before but these are sharp and have a good grip. My dog doesn't like his nails done but these help make the job much quicker so we're both happier!

A quality product which very comfortable to hold and control. These clippers give a precision cut and are quick and easy to use. Would recommend

Ok but have had better

J'ai 2 molosses à la maison, de plus de 50 kilos, dont un Raffeiro d'Alentejano qui a d'énorme griffes latérales aux pattes arrières .La pince coupe très bien, il faut faire vite ( les chiens n'aiment pas çà ..), et surtout couper juste un peu à la fois ( la base des griffes est sensible et comporte une veine : attention de ne pas blesser votre animal !) .

Ho comprato questo taglia unghie per i miei due setter inglesi, per ora l'ho usato una volta e mi sembra un buon prodotto.

Stable and sharp tool. Works 100x better then previous tool (similiar) it’s replacing. These items have however an expired date. They get unsharp after awhile. Let’s see how long this one will last…
