KVM Switch 4K@60Hz Metal Heat Dissipation, 4K Switch for 2 Computer Share 1 Monitor and 3 USB Devices, Included 2 HDMI and 2 USB Cables

Was using a USB switch previously, and finally broke down with the added hassle of a more manual switch between video on my WFH and personal setup. I have a M2 Mac Mini and a windows laptop (HP) running thru a docking station, routed to a Samsung monitor. This thing works perfectly. Added benefits are that the connections to the actual PC/Max and the monitor are all on the back side of the KVM box. The front side is reserved for inputs, such as mouse and keyboard which are typically to the front of the desk. Makes wire management a bit easier all around. Also like the external key/switch, which affords some opportunity to get the box completely out of sight. Really happy with the device all around.

i tried the fancier ones with usb 3.0 but my logitech g910 keyboard would get disconnected every so often took me a bit to figure the likely problem was the usb 3.0 go knows why.So far so good no disconnects now.Just got it today but so far so good. Hope I don't have to come back and update.

I have three monitors. The left one on my Linux box, the right one on my Windows box, the middle is switched back and forth. Like the previous cheap kvm I bought when you switch to the other computer this effectively disconnects the monitor for the first computer. Of it was Windows it will then rearrange your screen from you.Definitely not what I'm looking for.

It arrived in excellent condition and has all the cables for both the HDMI displays and USB cables.The setup took about 5 minutes and the unit has worked perfectly. I would order another but the price has jumped up 50%, It is still worth it IMO.

I bought this KVM switch less than a year ago, and it has already quit working.It's supposed to support 4 computers with 1 keyboard, mouse, and monitor. It took about 6 months for the first of the 4 ports to quit working. Then I had issues with the device not switching correctly which required cycling the power several times a day.Last week it just up and died.Do not purchase this KVM switch - spend a bit more money and get something that has decent quality.

Got this to toggle back and forth between a 2010-ish powermac with dvi monitor out (use of dvi to hdmi adapter no problem) and a 2023 mac mini with hdmi monitor out. I like the key button feature from a desktop cable management pov, so the kvm itself and all the cables in and out of it can be hidden, with just the key button on the desktop.

I got this KVM switch to help with the clutter on my desk from having 2 laptops and it works very well. In my case the 3 USB ports work well for mouse, keyboard and web cam.Recommended!!
