Is the pump waterproof (can it be left in the garden by the pond filter) and what is included I.e what extras would I need for my pond.

Yes, fully waterproof. Mines sat next to my filter box and has been for last year! You just need to clean filter once every now and again! It comes with 8mm hose and a 12 or 6 way splitter. Depending on how many air stones you are going to run will depend on what you need. I only use 1 large 20cm and 2 10cm so I bought an adjustable 3 way valve and can control how much air passes through these. Hope this helps

What size pipe fits if i was too only run one or two stones

The air line used for this pump is 4mm ID / 6mm OD. It comes with a manifold with 10 outlets, if you only require 2 or 3 outlets you have to block off the unused outlets so there is no loss of air flow.

It's quite load until you connect the air pipe to it then it's surprising just how quiet it goes.👍

I am setting up a small fishroom containg 9 no tanks, is this powerful enough to run a sponge filter in each tank

I use it for an airstone on a bottom drain 5 feet under water.I would say it will defo do 6 big round ball airstones very easy.
