Works as advertised. Fit into my chair with no issue. I wasn't expecting this but it makes sense, it doesn't dip at all when I sit down in it. I was used to the chair going down a inch or so when I sat down but with this new cylinder it just stays lol.

This is an excellent replacement for my office chair. Fits perfectly and installed real easily. I also appreciate that it is taller than the one it replaced. Loved it so much, I bought another for hubby's office chair. A Win-Win!!!

Original bought the chair from biglots at local store, chair from day one has these issue where moment i sat in drop bought half inch and popped up when i got up it also creep down slowly at random whiling sitting in it, i ignored it cause was not bad and the chair was comfortable in last month starting 5-01-2023 it start sinking 1-2 inchs just from me sitting in it and sinking while sitting in it alot to point i would have pull the lever just to make go back up which wasn't making it go up ( had to pull up) On 6-10-2023 the lift was lost on cylinder. So I bought it next day it was sale go figure.New cylinder works great for now ( and i hope permanently), I only way 110lbs this rated for 1000lbs so this should have zero issue any time soon i hope. Seeing I spent 30 minutes the other day just removing the old cylinder, This was easy to install, put one end into wheel side and other in to chair ( dont forget to remove cap on top cylinder so will go up when pulling the lever). Now the chairs max height was bout 1" higher then the old cylinder, but I adjusted it to height needed, I now have zero drop in height when I sit in it. and staying at height i need.Was not really happy that box that cylinder was in was open cylinder fell out box as grab box out brown bag it was in and plastic bag the cylinder was in was open too the rest of plastic bag in it where sealed. And seeing as I need cylinder I just use it as it didnt look damagedIf it goes bad I will update

This was relatively easy to change out. I used a large plumber's pipe wrench to get the old one out of the chair - lefty losey and a dead blow hammer to knock it out of the base. This fit perfectly and was easy to install. It supports my weight (260lbs+) solidly

This worked for the first month or so, now it won't maintain it's height. As soon as you sit in it the chair begins to slowly sink back down. Within 30 seconds your at the lowest height. Very frustrating!

So far so good on my Steelcase TS30832 a type of Turnstone model. Easy install. Tap out the base part of it. Then you might need a pipe wrench to turn it from high under the chair. It doesn’t shoot unscrew but the pipe wrench will break it loose.I have to pull the chair up to raise it. It doesn’t shoot up on its own.Quiet operation.
