Art of the Brave (Disney: Pixar) Hardcover – Studio, 16 May 2012

I ordered this book a little while ago excited to see the concepts for Pixar's new film 'Brave', as I have lived in Scotland all my life and was intrigued to see if they were able to bring across the atmosphere of the country.Overall I'm very pleased with how they did, the book is well made, with good prints as well, as I have come to expect. The only negetive I came across was that it contains spoilers and as the film is yet to be released I was a smidge disappointed in that.Well worth a buy if you love pixars style and the beauty of Scotland!!

Once again an excellent insight on how these brilliant story tellers and animators get there job from concept to finished item. Shows the way the tale is laid out, then the artists and animators come up with ideas and in collaboration with the author they come up with a beautiful finished item. Anexcellent book to anyone who loves this style of art

It arrived damaged the first time but I was able to send it back and get a replacement with no problems at all, I love this sort of behind the scenes thing.

A really great read followed by beautiful artwork. It tells the story of making the film, talks about people who made them, about locations they visited and where they got inspiration from. It shows how concepts evolved, including not only the final concept art. Lots of Scotland-related and celtic art, painted drawings.

Such a beautiful book! The art work is amazing and the detail on the film is a great read. Great gift for anyone who is into animation.
