I nomally use hair gel type products for styling my hair so I was keen to give clay a go based on a recommendation.The packaging suggests that this is a premium product, creating a good first impression. I was surprised when I first opened the tub at how rigid the clay was. A little bit of working in the hands gets it ready for use though and it becomes fairly easy to apply. With a bit of patience you can build up a style or look that you are happy with and it is effective at maintaining that style for a good few hours thereafter.If you like to use hair clay, then this product will probably do what you need it to.

I've used this clay for a while now and it has been my goto for a while. It is a thick clay that needs warming up between the palms before applying but when on it really provides some hold but without being stiff. It takes a pea sized amount to take care of mid length(on top) very thick hair.It lasts too - if I haven't showered that night after applying I wouldn't need to reapply, my hair would look just as good the next day with a bit of manipulation.It has a very earthy, herby smell that I would definitely class as masculine - not my favourite if I'm honest but it's not bad.If you are looking for a very matt, super performing rough(textured) clay then I would definitely recommend you try - I haven't found one that 'performs' better.

This does help hold hair and makes the hair look nice without it looking as greasy as hair gel can.

It went straight into the bin.Dried my hair out in 30 mins and left it looking very dull.Extremely difficult to get it out of the tub.

I'm not sure what the nourishing bit means but what I do know is this is a great smelling, firm holding, matte finish clay. It is matte enough that it doesn't really look like your hair has product on it at all, it also has very firm hold so a small blob on your fingernail is plenty for even mid-length hair. Cheaper clay products tend to be much softer and 'wetter' so you need to use more and also make your hair look unnaturally shiny. This is nothing like that and I can see it becoming my go-to styling product.

I've used a few different brands of hair styling clay, putty and paste over the years. This one was a little unusual - when I first opened it, I thought it was defective as it was rock hard. However, once you dig under the top firm layer, you get to the clay texture underneath, and it then works like any other hair product.I initially thought I'd applied too much as it felt very sticky, but after a couple of minutes in my hair it seemed to give really good results - my hair stayed in place for most of the day, felt fairly light and a little fluffy - not sticky like with some other products.It is very expensive for what it is, but I'd suggest considering this product if you're after some hair clay.

If like me, always on the hunt for new hair styling products, I thought I would try this product from Graham Hill.The packaging and branding seems to be high class, very stylish.When opening the tub I wasn't keen on the smell, it's not an overpowering smell but it's not unpleasantit's just not a nice smell. It does smell like raw natural ingredients.The texture is very firm and waxy, felt slightly sticky but did styled my hair well.It took some scrubs to wash it out but not much more than other products.I'm just not sure I would spend the money to buy more. For me, the luxury product didn't surpass the packaging. Maybe it's just not for my hair but would be better for others.

Stumbled across this clay as noticed it in my hairdressers who recommended it. . Gave it a go. I really liked it and won’t be returning to my old one. You have to use very little to get great hold so a pot will last for a long time. It gives a nice Matt finish which makes it look like you are not wearing any product. Your hair feels good with it on and it washes out easily with no build up.
