Way better than anticipated
Okay . I was skeptical. It's expensive . But I live in aobile home in the North east. I have laminate floors. The floors are cold. Real cold. I took a chance on this thing. Been using it for a month now. It's all it's cracked up to be and more. GranKids love it. My adult kids passed out on the floor thanksgiving night. They loved it. My wife loves it. She will sit on the floor instead of the couch. I think and feel it takes a bit of the chill out of the air. I love this thing and I am thinking of buying others for other rooms. * I am curious to see what the electric bill will be . * Also I am curious to see how long this last. I'm hoping 3 years. I have a thin slip pad over my laminate then this then my carpet. Currently in love with it and highly recommend

Excellent
I have had the woo warmer for about a week and it is superior to other heated pads i have used. The pad itself functions as a conventional rug pad, nice and soft, [others require use with a separate pad] and the control box allows for fine tuning of warmth. The auto off is also a great feature. My one suggestion is to think carefully about where to place the control box to avoid tripping but still have easy access. Its so good, i may buy another.

NOT DESIGNED TO BE STEPPED ON!!!
Almost a great product, but fatally flawed design process. It's supposed to go under a rug, but YOU CAN'T WALK ON IT? WTF?The control box is permanently attached to the corner of the mat.The control box is flimsy, so stepping on it will destroy it.The control box is just tall enough to be a safety hazard for older people.Kids should be fine, but this product should not be used where ordinary people will walk on it.I called the manufacturer to see if I could remove the control box. They said it was "impossible" but I know that is not true.I have several rug buddies that ARE designed to go under a rug and the control box is at the end of the power cord, so it can be placed on the wall instead of under foot. They actually told me, "DO NOT PUT THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF A ROOM."It was designed to go on the edge of a room or under furniture. The marketing team realized that it's best use is in the middle of a room.ALL of the pictures for this product show it in the middle of a room!False advertising, really, although probably unintentional - just a mistake (which could be fixed!)If the manufacturing team would listen to the marketing team, this could be a five star product.Eliminate the control box, or at least move it to the end of a cord.Another bad feature is it goes off every 6 hours! So you have to add another timer to "defeat" this "feature"If you want to heat a guest space, you have to turn it on at noon, again at 6pm, again at midnight. And then by 7AM your guest is getting cold?Wow, think it through next time.A rug you can't step on.

Good Complementary Heating
Purchased this for my home office (10x10), which has three exterior walls and can never seem to get warm enough in the winter, via the home's central forced air heating system. This pad was placed under a carpet, under my desk and chair. I wouldn't want to use this as the only source of heating, but it certainly adds a nice touch to keeping my feet and legs warm. And after a few hours of usage, especially when temperatures outside have risen, the pad often needs to be turned off. Here's what I like: The pad seems to be well-made. It has a controller to set whether you want the full pad on, or only half, as well as how high or low you want the heat to get. I haven't really played around with this, as mine is always set to "high". My first unit broke within a year and the company rushed a replacement to me within days. I've had no issues with the replacement, for two years. Here's what you need to consider: If you are trying to heat an entire room with this, you may be able to do it, but it's going to take a few hours - thus, it's slow. I augment with a space heater. Other than that, I have no complaints.Excellent customer service. Good quality. Easy to use and the unit works.

Amazing
We initially bought this as a sort of test for radiant floor heating; we were converting a single car garage to a room and needed a way to condition the space. While this absolutely won't do that, we found that warm rug = sitting on the floor. A lot. And napping on the floor. We used this rug warmer every day in the fall/winter/early spring and sometimes on chilly summer mornings for over three years. We loved it, our cat loved it, our friends loved it, much excellent "rug time" was had. It blew a fuse several weeks ago; much sad. But we reached out to the maker and we were able to arrange bringing it to him to look at. Quick easy fix, and now we have our awesome heated rug back. Cannot recommend enough; great service, AMAZING product.
