Looks and feels lovely - but as it’s a gift I don’t want to take it out of the packaging in case I can’t get it back as neatly!

The material has a beautiful print, and I think it is as described, 100% silk (noticed some other reviews doubting if it's silk). It is finished by hand, so not sure how durable the stitching would be overtime. The material feels nice.What let this scarf down for me was the way the print shows on face and back. The material is a bit heavy and the silk would be very suitable for a garment where only one side is shown, but for a scarf you expect both sides to be quite similar since it will move and turn, and in this case the difference between face and back was very noticeable. So you need to be very careful how you present it to show its best side.
